This is my second atom and was a replacement for one I purchased back in 2018. This is my go to everyday jacket. It's my mid layer for cold ski days and my outer layer for days in town. Haven't found anything comparable yet.

Modernize The Cuffs And Will Be Perfect
I have the old Atom LT and I love it. I have compared it to the Nano Puff and the new OR Vesper and am still impressed. It has held up so well through my sweaty outdoor activities and washes. I use it as top and mid layer, but mostly solo (I get too hot). I could use a new one but until Arc changes the sleeve cuffs design to make it easier to go over my Applewatch I am sticking with my old jacket. I find it so frustrating trying to look at my watch. If you try one on and use an Applewatch, make sure you test that activity.

Love It!
This jacket stands up to the hype! I’ve worn this jacket on long multi pitches, snowboarding in the resort, back country split boarding, trail running and hiking. It’s warm, breathable, comfortable and water resistant. The fit is comfortable and flexible for movement in all activities

Warm And Breathable For Winter Weather
Jacket keeps me warm and comfortable during long walks in the woods and while shoveling 16 inches of snow. Very breathable. I'm not soaking in sweat when I'm done. Amazing! I layer it with a simple fleece vest. I need to figure out how to better layer it with more Arcteryx!

Disappointment In Third Atom Hoody
I received my third Atom Hoody from my husband for my birthday this year. I instantly recognized changes to the fit, design and materials and later read about the "updates." It feels cheaper and I've wondered if corners were cut to save money. Only time will tell if the jacket is more subject to wear and tear. At a holiday party, a friend commented on my husband's "vintage"atom hoody, which is "so much nicer than the new one." So not just me.
