Norvan Ld 4 Shoe.

I really love this shoe all the different colors and at a reasonable price.

Responsive Daily And Longer Distance Trainer

Great protection under foot without compromising ground feel, perfect trainer with great cushion for longer miles, fit is good, my true to size is 10us but I always go 10.5 for the extra room in the toe box, i have enough room in toe box to splay my toes but definitely not an overly wide toe box, witch I love, traction is great in dry rocky ground or crushed granite witch is my main terrain, enough protection against sharp rocks, breathable enough with good toe protection for those toe catchers out on the trails and the garage lace is a great feature because these laces do come undone with just a simple knot but eliminated when in the garage, I now own two pairs of this Norvan4.

More Cushing For The Pushing

Substantial cushioning and excellent breathability. The Vibram sole provides excellent traction but is a softer compound with less durability than an approach shoe or true hiker.

Love Them!

Comfy. Stylish. Have gotten numerous compliments and asks “what brand are your shoes?”

Worst Trail Shoe.

Worst fitting trail shoe I have ever worn. Went 1/2 size bigger like I always do. Hard to get foot into the shoe. First run - blisters on top of toes, abrasion of skin on top of foot and ankle. You should fire your designers and testers.

Good Everyday

The aesthetics of this shoe are great, very minimalist to pair with many outfits. Traction is good, protected me from a fall one day. Durability is great, the back of the shoe is being hit constantly due to how I use the shoe, and there is only a small wear spot. Very comfortable for everyday wear, however a better insole could provide better cushion for everyday, however for trail running it's probably good. Very breathable as well.

Abrasion And Tear

I love the comfort of these shoes but they only lasted three weeks before a tear where the shoe creases at the toe.

Good Quality

Hiking, good quality, smart design comfortable etc.

Great Fit

My lady friend and I happen to wear the same size. I purchased these for her so I could get mine back!

Great Durability, Comfort, And Traction!

Technical trail shoe with supreme comfort. Combining torsional rigidity and slight forefoot flex and very smooth responsive midsole has made this my favorite trail shoe whether I'm doing run or long day hikes. Mega grip Litebase with the lug pattern is very grippy and the flat knit mid foot lockdown makes for a very secure fit. Lateral TPU frame on the shoe really keeps the shoe protected from wear and tear on trail. I've always been a mountaineering boot and approach shoe person but Arcteryx Norvan LD4 has found a place in my rotation for sure.

Solid All Rounder

Please go back to darker and simple color ways. These shoes are awesome they just wear through quickly in the front.

Great Sleak Hiker

Great tracking on these hikers, kept me safe and secure on wet rocks in cold new england weather. These fit true to size, will have some break in period. I had some discomfort on my first hike on the top of my foot but gone on my 2nd hike. Absolutely love the lace tuck on the tongue of the shoe.

Wet Rock And Muddy Trails

Fresh out the box shoes are phenomenal, they run a little bit on the longer side but not complaining about extra space. Really light on foot and a little soft for being a bigger guy but can’t complain, paired with vibram lite base compound super sticky on the slick east coast granite. Durability is probably my only complaint as the cushion does go after 150/200 miles down but nice while it lasted. I do want to try to GTX model eventually since it’s getting wet in the east right now but for fall purposes definitely kept me breathable, cool maybe a little damp too.

Great Trail Shoe

My first Arcteryx trail running shoe. I was super pleased with how it preformed on my trail runs and hikes. I found the toe box to be wide enough for my semi wide feet which is usually a pain point for me. I didn't find any hot spots which was incredible. I feel like they have found the right ratio of cushioning and ground feel. The vibram treads are spectacular as expected, great grip on the slippery and muddy trails on Forest Park. The one thing I wasn't so keen on was the tongue. I felt it bunched up a bit towards the bottom but I can live with that being my only gripe.

Great Shoe

I found the Norvan LD 4 to be super grippy, comfortable, and durable. I went a half size down from my typical trail runners and found it to be the perfect fit for running. Width seems pretty true to what it should be. The shoe is super lightweight and dries quickly after getting wet. The tread held up super well on terrains varying from dirt paths to technical single track with roots, rocks, and mud. Because it was so light I felt like I could run extra fast. The shoe has held up super well and shows almost no wear. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.
