Exceptionally Comfortable

Day two after arrival kids wanted to go to fright fest at our local amusement park. What better way to break these boots in than walking around an amusement park for six hours and standing in long lines. These boots performed exceptionally well. I wear a size 12. They gripped my feet most comfortably. The soles are like shock absorbers. At no time was there any feet fatigue. A well balanced boot regarding all around comfort. I’m a little early on my review. Family camping trip isn’t until next month October. I felt walking around an amusement park and standing in long lines keeping up with a 7 and 9 year old boys would be a great test. Ar’teryx didn’t disappoint

Superbly Comfortable And Capable

These felt incredible out of the box and I’d argue barely need a break in period. After several multi-hour hikes over the past few weeks in prep for a Patagonia trip, they’re performing well and feel fantastic. The wearing experience is as close you get to running show comfort while being a fully capable backpacking boot. If I had to criticize them; the tongue material can bunch up when putting them on if you don’t pull it up/distribute it before lacing. This should be a best practice before lacing any boot, so truly not a notable negative imo. Great boot all around and looking forward to 14 days in Patagonia with them!
