Good quality, nice design and provides great wind and sun protection when out on water. Fairly light weight, but still provides good warmth.

Cuffs Ruin It
The jacket itself is great, however the cuffs are terrible. I had to return it due to the cuffs. I’ll buy it again the second they put some nice adjustable velcro cuffs on this jacket.

Greatest Softshell Jacket Ever
Great jacket, I use it often. I climb and hike. This jacket is perfect for the Colorado Rocky's and it's changing weather.

Awesome
The jacket is awesome! It is warm when you’re wearing a long sleeve shirt underneath it and it fits like a glove. I was out with a little bit of misty rain and did not get wet through the jacket. I wouldn’t trade it for any other jacket.

Could Be Great.
It would be awesome if Arcteryx went back to the old sizing. I usually wear an XL as I layer under jackets. An XL in this jacket is still too big with layers and the large size is too small to layer under. Pretty sad about this. I have no idea who or what made them decide to change the sizing.

Fits Well And Looks Beautiful
it is very good quality, fine made as most arcteryx jackets with pockets which is very handy. Fits well too.
I found nowadays the quality is not as good as old days, I have been wearing arcteryx clothes form over 17 years.
The colors are so boring only 3 colors available.
Hope arcteryx makes more colors .

A Let Down For The Features As Advertised.
Not reliable as a layer for warmth. I purchased this thinking it would be a better jacket than a Atom but soon found out that the shell is extremely thin and did not offer any more warmth than a shell with out any fleece. I found that the DWR was not useful in situations where there is more than a bit of drizzle. If you plan on wearing this product be sure to have an actual Gore-Tex shell with you on top.

Why Did You Ruin A Perfect Color With Those Pocket
I’ve been waiting for a decent blue-grey Gamma MX for seasons. Finally, the "Dk Stratus" color looks amazing on the Jacket version. But why, for the love of design, did you add those bright blue contrast pockets to the Hoody?
The Jacket is sleek and monochromatic, while the Hoody looks like a DIY patchwork project. The contrast is jarring and cheapens the aesthetic of an otherwise high-end piece. We buy Arc'teryx for the minimalism and technical look, not for random pops of color that don't match. Please, give us a monochromatic Hoody option. This was a massive swing and a miss.

Good Fit For Athletic Build
I am 6’3” with 44” chest and 34” waist. More athletic build and broader shoulders.
Size XL is a perfect fit for me with perfect sleeve length. I have enough room for layering but the jacket is not too baggy. Cerium in L was too tight for me on the shoulders and XL was too baggy in the waist. Not a problem with this jacket.
Very happy and great daily jacket for fall/spring. I do wish the logo had the arcteryx lettering but just my personal preference.

Poor Fit
Fit is terrible, has the sleeves of a size small and the body of a large (size large purchased), the hood is tiny. Can't comment on the performance as it is getting returned whenever Arcteryx can fix their computer system.
The Gamma Xl jacket has a great fit and looks perfect on

It Used To Be Better
I've owned a Gamma MX Hoody for years now, but recently my beloved MX was stolen and I had to replace it. I was psyched to see the Black Sapphire color come back up as a solid (without the purple band across the chest that to me looks ridiculous), so immediately I ordered my replacement.
I've been complaining for a few years about Arc'teryx's decision to screw with the fit of their clothing, and while I understand what they're going for with a more "inclusive" fit model, the problem is that the clothes I used to love the fit of, now have been altered to fit much worse and this jacket is no exception. Have an "inclusive" line if you must, but the hardcore backcountry athletes that have loved and supported you for years are going to start going elsewhere if you keep wrecking the fit of the gear they depend on. I returned it (and will continue to return any re-buys that have had the fit screwed with). I've loved Arc for years and the fit has been incredible, but I've sent back 7 of the last 8 items I've ordered because either the fit is worse or the materials have been changed for cheeper (Cerium series, I'm talking to you - you feel like a cheap amazon knock-off now)

Multi Faceted Soft Shell Jacket
Awesome design. Sufficiently warm as underlayer or stand alone jacket. Versatile hood.
