I wish I didn’t have to give a 3 star rating. I love this jacket. I have bought it twice as they last 18mo to 2 years. The outer shell tears everywhere. The first jacket I wasn’t as careful with and I had “speed tape” all over it. I only buy black so the tape blends. After 18mo. I could only wear it as a layer under a shell. Then bought a second knowing how fragile it is. I make it 2 years… The down weight is perfect, the fit is perfect. I have an SV, but it needs to be extremely cold. The LT, now just Cerium is the perfect down jacket, minus the shell. If Arc’teryx would put the SV shell on the regular Cerium. I’d own every color. Please Arc’teryx make a Cerium DS,(durable shell). I’ll only buy those until the end on time.

Weight / Warmth And Comfort Equals Perfection
Excellent piece of kit this jacket has spoiled me in the cold. Especially when lateyered with a fleece , I’ve been down to 0 f degrees with that combo with heavy winds and was perfect. I wouldn’t head out in the cold without it

An All Around Winter Jacket
My favorite jacket ever - stylistically and practically. If you want one jacket (and one jacket only) to get you through the winter, the Cerium is it. I just acquired my second one because of how much I love it. I'm impressed with not just the light weight of it, but how well it insulates without needing additional layers. I heat up quickly, granted, but from 0-32 degrees Farrenheit, I'm able to rock out with just a tee or long sleeve tee underneath and feel comfortable. I am a big fan of the simplicity, and the cut (it does run pretty slim). Hopefully they make one with the wordmark logo sometime! I use it for any outdoor setting - from backpacking to going into the office.
