Too Narrow, Short And Toe Box Not Tall Enough

I was hoping that these Timp 5s would be as comfortable as my other Altra shoes. I ordered a size 9 like in my other shoes but the Timp seems to run narrow, too snug and not enough height to the toe box. So unlike my other Timp Shoes. I need to see what you recommend that I do. Return these and order a 9.5? Please contact me.

Great Show, Wider Toe Box

Great show, wider toe box gives hits ties room. If 2nd toe is longer than if toe these might not work for you

Altra

Altra's commitment to quality and function is apparent in these shoes! 10 out of 10!

Favorite Shoe So Far Altra Timp 5

Im not a runner, but I walk a lot and wear these daily. Im on my 2nd pair (my first pair is still so comfortable to wear doing yard work, etc) I think what makes this shoe so comfortable is the Altra EGO™ MAX midsole foam compound on this shoe and I love the grippyVibram® Megagrip outsole. I own a pair of Exerience Flow 3 and they just arent as cushy and feel more basic. Love the brand and the shoes hold up really well!

Love These Shoes! Nice And

Love these shoes! Nice and light. Great cushion but not too much. I use them for working out.

Already On My Second Pair

awesome shoe, lots of stability and support. Very good outsole/tread for trails.

Fabulous Shoe

I love these so much!! They're cushier than the Lone Peaks and slightly narrower, which works really well for my foot. I still feel that I have plenty of room at the toes. This is a fav! That said, the heel fabric has begun to fray after about 200 miles, but it's still very wearable and not causing issues.

Comfort For Days!

I bought these and they are the most comfortable sneaker I have ever had. The toe box is wide and provides so much cushion and space that I can wear them all day long!

Very Comfortable Shoes With Good Tread!

Very comfortable shoes with good tread and support.

Stylish And Supportive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the styling and color combo on these shoes. Outdoorsy but also fun with a pop of color. They are very lightweight and feel supportive on my sole and arch. They have nice grip and are perfect for hiking or trails. Strangely, they cause my feet to tingle. I’ve loosened them but they still cause this somewhat uncomfortable feeling.

Comfortable!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comfortable shoes that provide balance of cushion and firmness. The textured bottoms helps with grip! They are breathable and so far have held up! The tan color goes will with outfits looks cute!

Comfort Right Out Of The Box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are extremely comfortable straight out of the box. They are supportive and comfortable, have great traction on paths and trails. Fit was true to size for me. I am very thankful for this incentivized item since I was introduced to my new go-to shoe.

Not Sure What Is Going On Here

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really want to love these! I love the color and it’s not an excessive amount of height or cushion added like hokas… felt really comfortable walking around and then I went to go run a quick mile and my 3 last toes were rubbing against the shoe so much i was ready to get home already. Took the shoe off and my toes were bleeding… what the heck?

These Are Cute!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are really cool. I love the wide toe box. I love the design and color scheme. They are a bit narrow so I sized up from a 6.5 to a 7.5. They seem good with minimal friction, causing blisters. They feel like they are breaking down a tad bit by the back of the heel where it sits on the upper back of my foot. I feel steady in these shoes but they are tight across bridge area of foot. The traction is great! I think I would purchase these shoes again but I don’t think they will be my go to because they are so narrow. After my run my feet, being swollen, felt like a sausage in a tight contraption.

A Bit Narrow For Altas!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to reiterate how much I love Altra shoes and had three different pairs prior to testing the Timp 5’s. Before purchasing my Lone Peaks, I was looking at the Timps! I have always had a great experience with Altra so I was pretty shocked when my shoes came with a missing right insole. Given that I had three other pairs, one of them being retired running shoes, I swapped those insoles for the new ones, and didn’t miss a beat. Why Altra? If you have bad feet like me, you will appreciate the wide toe box during a hike or run to allow your feet to spread out. (Your back will thank you later)The Timp 5’s weren’t as wide as I would have liked them to be but I was able to adjust the laces to make them wider. I do appreciate that they weren’t heavy either which made trail running more efficient, and one less factor to deal with. Even with the hiccup, altras will forever be my go to. 🫶
