Found My Shoe!

PLEASE don’t “improve” these like Saucony did to the Kinvaras. After Saucony changed my favorite runners, these were a suggested alternative and they felt great from day one.

My New Favorite Daily Shoe

I have tried the flow in the past with mixed results. This newest update is working great for me and has become my favorite go-to daily trainer.

Comfortable And Light But Still Supportive

I am 69 years old with a neuroma and arthritis in my foot. I need a wide toe box to prevent pain so I tried the Altra's for road. I already used them on trails. I love the 4mm drop, zero drop doesn't play well with my knees, but this drop is perfect. I get NO neuroma pain with these shoes and I can't tell you how huge that is. They are lightweight but still have great cushioning and support. Please don't change anything about them for the next version!

Great Upgrade!

I didn't love the heel and heel counter on previous version but this model is awesome. Feel great, and forefoot seems more accommodating. Highly reccomend!

????

I wore these for one hour in my home. Looked down and was dismayed at the absolute collapse of the sole after one hour working from home indoors gentle test drive. I am 5’6 155lb woman. I did not even jump around. They fit fine, that’s not the issue.. when you make a shoe that is half way to the landfill within 1 hour of wear, I can no longer support you as a company. Cute shoe! Very barefoot, fantastic! Means nothing if I cannot even wear them as a slipper?? super disappointing quality standards. Please for the love of humanity do better

Heaven Under My Feet

I WOULD GIVE IT A 100 A+ IF IT WAS AN OPTION. MY VERY FIRST PAIR WAS THE OLYMPUS GTX, OMG IS ALL I CAN SAY! MY TOES NEVER FELT BETTER. THEN I GOT THE TORIN, GREAT INDOOR SNEAKER FOR WORKING ON YOUR FEET ALL DAY AND AT THE GYM. THEN CAME THE EXPERIANCE FLOW 2....GAME CHANGER! ONE OF MY FAVORITES. BEST OUTDOOR SHOE IS MY OLYMPUS'S. I NOW HAVE 2 PAIRS OF THOSE. THE WATER PROOFING IS OUTSTANDING. I AM A 4 TIME BUYER. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO ANYTHING ELSE!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!

Amazing Shoes, Color Not As Expected.

I bought the Ice/ Niagara mist color. Not yellow at all, just icy blue. Still a pretty shoe, so I'll be keeping it. Feels well made, extremely comfy, fit as expected. Ordered my usual running size of 9.5, normal day shoes I do 9.

Loved The Experience Flow 2 Better

I loved to 2's so much, i was wondering how you'd improve them. But sadly, you didn't. The 2's just flow better when you run. Better feel on your feet. I'm sad I bought 5 pair.

Why Change A Great Thing?

I loved using this shoe for the last two years, and a different Altra for two years before that. I went to get a new pair and they totally changed the footbed, and my foot now rolls inward both on this model and the Torin. Now I have to find another shoe brand. Why do companies do this?!! Ruined a perfect thing.

Bad Upgrade From The 1

I’ve been a longtime Altra fan and loved my original Experience Flow shoes, so I was excited to upgrade to the Experience Flow 3. Unfortunately, the 3 feels completely different on my foot and caused significant heel pain. I switched back to my original Experience Flows and my feet immediately felt good again. I’m disappointed with the changes made to the 3 and really wish they had kept the fit and feel of the original.

My Best Running Shoe Yet

This is the first shoe that I've owned that allows my feet to feel supported yet more free when running. The brand was recommended by a colleague with a sports medicine focus and I'm grateful he recommended Altra. I took a break from running due to the hip and knee pain and a repetitive broken metatarsal bone but these shoes have allowed me to get back at it with lower risk of injury. Love them! Just purchased my 2nd pair.

From Hoka Bondi To Altra Women's Experience Flow 3

Y'all the difference is startling in such a great way. If you're a Bondi wearing hospital nurse, you should def give them a go. I'll buy more once some cool colors come out - who can really wear all these light colors!?

Nice To Be Back

I started wearing Altra Lone Peaks in 2017 while doing the PCT. I used Lone Peaks after that, for all hikes and climbs other than in Winter. 2020 or 2021 I moved into a similar shoe that had Vibram soles, as the one issue I had with Lone Peaks was traction on wet, slippery terrain. Now that Altra has put a Vibram sole on the Lone Peak, there is no better trail shoe! I've climbed many 14ers, done long treks in rugged mountains and trail less desert canyons, tackled technical 4-5 class rock work and miles of river walking in my Altras, and I've yet to experience a blister. Just completed the North Circle Loop in Glacier, with days of steady rain and thunderstorms. Enjoyed the overgrown forest trails and rocky mountain passes with confidence in my feet wearing my latest pair of Lone Peaks.

Altra Has Been Going Downhill

I’ve been wearing Altra for years, including the Escalante and original experience flow, which I loved (had bought multiple pairs). I tried the experience flow 2 and absolutely hated them. They gave me extreme heel pain, and they were incredibly narrow and gave me blisters. I returned them. I am finding that for some reason you guys keep making more versions of shoes, but they continue to get worse. Please stop changing things that are already great. I’m about to give up. :(

Extremely Comfortable And The Flat

Extremely comfortable and the flat foot feel was excellent for my foot health
