Too Narrow
Too narrow. The toe box is not roomy. Wide available only in ugliest color. Offer more wide options. The heel pulls pulled right off. Rubber around toe box peeled after a few wears.

Comfortable With The Wide Option
I bought this in the wide option and dark blue color. Wide options should always be offered in dark colors so they don't look too wide when wearing them. Women's shoes too! Thank you.

Best Fitting Shoe I've Ever Owned
I wear them everywhere, not just on the trail. All that said, they have amazing grip on the worst trail surfaces, and when I wake up the next morning on a long hike my feet don't hurt or ache at all. I can't say that with my other trail shoes.

My Favorite Altra Shoe Thus Far
I am a Physical Therapist and I use it to wear in clinic daily. Love the feel and fit for my foot. Very comfortable. I wish there was an all black or all black and white color so I could buy another.

Too Narrow!
We have bought 8 pair of Altras in the last 3-4 years and all the newer models are too narrow for our feet. Just had to return a pair of lone peak 7 that says they are the "original foot shape", because they were too narrow for my son's feet (compared to his previous pair!)

Awesome Grip
After 2 pairs of LP5 and 2 pairs of LP6, I'm really happy to see the new grip on my 2 pairs of LP7, more aggressive! After 900km on the fisrt one, I can say it's the most durable shoes I wear. Can't wait to try the LP8!!!

If They Make More Wide Options, Maybe
Five stars 5 years ago! They have strayed from their foundation! Only offering 1 or 2 color options in 1or 2 models is a slap in the face to those of us that have supported this company since founded!

A Perfect Outdoors Companion
This shoe delivers performance on the trails with style. The EGO foam provides a comfortable, yet supportive ride. The grip of the outsole will not have you missing Vibram. A must have in your collection.

Comfortable But Falling Apart
Comfortable and great for bigger feet. Holds up okay every where but the glued rubber edging around the toe of the shoe. The rubber is pulling away from the fabric around the toe area. This happened in about a month.

Lone Peak 7
I have Taylor's bunions ("little toes," i.e. bilateral, 5th metat.), so Altra Shoes immediately caught my attention when I saw the wide toe box 11 years ago. The zero drop works well with a rapid, flat, light stride. I live on the edge of town so I use Lone Pk 7s in a combination of trail and road running. I've been running for 50 years, and for the past 11 years wearing Altra shoes for everything but track work. I love Altra shoes.

Its Everything A Zero Drop Show Should Be.
This is exactly what a zero drop shoe should be. No one can expect the comfort level of these shoes to be the same as all the other shoes out there that focus on big cushioned soles with a drop and tight toebox. It is made so you can feel the ground and have a better proprioception and run in a more natural way. It is not for everybody, but for those looking to go back to the roots, this is your best choice. I am not giving it 5 stars only because I am not impressed with the grip on hard wet terrain. They need to improve that traction.

Do Not Buy These Shoes. Poorly Made.
I barely wore these shoes (3 times, 10 miles max all in city use) and the material is already shredding away. I contacted the company for the warranty that the guarantee and they refuse to stand by their product and replace. These are supposed to be trail running shoes and they can't stand up to gentle walks around the neighborhood. Don't waste your money on these shoes or with this company that lies about their warranty standards.

I Won't Buy This Again
My first two pairs I bought were absolutely perfect. Since then, the shoes have been elongated and narrowed slightly. I will probably look elsewhere for shoes that fit. This is not because my feet have changed shape, I have compared the old and new ones. For someone with the right shaped foot, these are excellent shoes.
