Great Grip, Firm Support

I’d hadn’t even heard of Altra until last May. After road running in the Experience Flows, I decided to try the Experience Wild 2s during a recent sale. Felt the quality build out of the box. Love the wide toe box, firm support, and solid grip on the trails. Liked them so much, I bought a second pair.

Comfy,, But Soft

Great fit, wide toe box is comfortable, but the ankle collar is a little bit high and rubs the oustide (ymmv),, Great on mixed to semi technical trail runs,, but the softer midsole is noticeable on more technical scrambling routes and can be uncomfortable.

Where Have These Been All My Life

I feel liked I’ve finally found a what a good sneaker is supposed to feel like. On my second pair. Anything else and you’re wasting your money.
