Back-up Bivvy

I have not used this product and it’s more of an emergency thing for my big day trip adventures. Reviews overall have been fairly good from my research.

Use With A Sleeping Bag

No doubt, it is compact and well made. I was hoping it could be used on its own for a summer road trip. So I tried it inside, in my bedroom when the house temps were 55-60ish. I was not warm enough to last the night, and crawled back under my blankets. I will use it to boost the warmth of my sleeping bag. If you are warm bodied this may work on its own for you.

Great Features

This camping blanket is perfect for being outdoors. It keeps you dry and keeps heat in. It’s water resistant. You can close yourself up in it or use it like a regular sleeping bag. The color is great in case you need it for being rescued. It makes it easier to see you. Also you can use it on tough terrain and not worry about it getting ripped or tore because it’s resistant to that also.

Great To Keep For Emergency!

I decided to try this out once I received it. It's a nice, lightweight package that's easy to get out and put back up. The material itself seems very durable with waterproof outside fabric, and it was surprisingly less noisy than I thought it would be. It did a great job warming me up quickly and keeping me that way. This is great for camping, or even just packing for outdoor adventures in an emergency or "just in case" kit. Highly recommended!

Freezing Night Made Warm

Went camping and it was colder than expected. Didn't want to freeze and get sick so I pulled my bivvy out and let me tell you I couldn't have been any warmer. The insolation on this is top notch and potentially saved me life and for that, with the price, would suggest anyone to have one for that just in case moment. You never know when you could need it and could save your life.
