Great Rod And Reel Combo.

This is my first Bait caster and I love it. I got it about eight months ago. I’ve been casting with it in my backyard and I’ve opened the Brakes and I have no thumb and I get no backlashes.

Fantastic Combo Set-up!

The rod is very lightweight, and the bait caster is awesome as it is smooth and easy to adjust tension. My son loves it and has caught quite a few fish with it so far!

Awesome Beginner Combo!

My girlfriend bought me this bait caster combo as a gift and and it has been awesome! I come from a spinning reel background and was new to bait-casting but quickly picked up the concept. The reel is smooth and reliable and the rod is sturdy. Have been using it for about two weeks now (several hours a day) and has held up very well. Seems very well made and has made bass fishing a very enjoyable and fun experience! Would definitely recommend this combo for somebody looking to give bait-casting a shot!

My very first bait-caster, did not disappoint. Smooth cast and very little backlash.

No Support

My teenage son saved his money to buy this combo and loved it performance wise, unfortunately he lost the tension knob while he was fishing, I contacted Abu about getting a replacement and they we responded with "unfortunately we do not have any parts for this reel" , how can they not have parts for this reel? If you are willing to take a chance on ending up with a reel that's useless buy away, I would recommend either another brand or buy directly from Abu Garcia!

Arrived With Broken Rod But Switched It For A Good One Easily In Store

I bought this rod online because my local store did not have a lefty combo in stock. The rod arrived broken right around the second eyelet. I took it back to the store and they simply switched the rod for a good one and put the lefty reel on it. I used the rod for the first time today and it seems like a pretty solid combo for the price. Overall I’m happy with the product but the shipping and packaging could be better.

Great Rod And Reel Combo

I purchased this combo 1 month ago. It's the 1st baitcaster I've ever used. I'm fully satisfied with the way it cast. I dialed it in, set drag and I haven't experienced a backlash yet.
