I want to love this jug. Actually, I do love this jug. When it is full of water, great piece of quality gear. Outstanding. However, I give it one star as once it is full of water you need to tighten the top quite a bit. Or else water leaks out. And the caveat is I have to use a vise or hammer with block of wood to get the lid back off. This was addressed with Yeti when I first received this as a gift for my wife. She was very excited to give it to me. And so they sent a new gasket in response. Well, the new gasket makes no difference. Terrible terrible design of the lid. And I am actually shocked that Yeti would continue to put this into the market. I plan to reach back out to them, if they would just replace it with one of the smaller jugs I would be happy. Or maybe give me a deal on one. Or even better, maybe they addressed this design flaw with changes since I received mine in September of 2022.
