Maybe Too Warm

Replaced a Mountain Hardwear Phantom 45 with this delightfully overkill bag from WM. Only took it on two weekend campout with scouts but I was cooking. I was hoping it felt bigger on the inside but its a bomber bag. Second weekend it rained start to finish and was grateful for the microfiber finish. It packs reasonably well. No regrets. Now to convince WM to build a 45 degree bag sized for the big boys.

Comfortable

It works, like the neck roll drawstring to seal in the heat. Lots of room. Limited use so far. Looking forward to many nights in this new bag

Great Bag

I purchased this bag a month ago and can't think of a better backpacking sleeping bag for me. For basically a mummy bag it is very roomy for anyone up to 290 lbs with large shoulders. I've let a lot of friends and family get in this bag and everyone of them agrees this bag is legit. You can research all the bags you want and you might find some models that fit you personally a hair better for whatever feature you deem is essential, but at the end of the day, you can't go wrong with the Badger. Warm and comfy with a great design and quality zipper.

Time For The Best

After 40 years of ultimately disappointing sleeping bags, I finally bit the bullet and went for the best - Western Mountaineering. At this point in my life, I want warmth I can count on, long lasting construction, and comfort. The high lofting Badger does all of it. Wouldn't use it above 60 degrees, but its so great being totally warm on all those 30's and 40 degree nights. Love it.

Roomy Mummy Bag.

I bought this sleeping bag recently. Took it out for archery elk hunting for the first time this month. This bag is a bigger mummy bag. Wider and not quite as tapered. Kept me warm and comfy for 2 weeks. My 2nd western mountaineering bag. Couldn't be happier!

Just A Perfect Bag For Me

Had this for 3 months. Used it 4 times on NC/VA/TN packing trips in Winter with lows from 20 to 35 degrees. I'm 6'1, 190, athletic and the long is perfect. I'm primarily a side sleeper and the extra shoulder/knee girth is spot on. Quality is outstanding. Zipper never snags. Slept like a baby every night. Pretty sure 15 degrees is a conservative rating. This thing is a work of art.

Top Notch Sleeping Bag.

I bought this bag to upgrade from an old synthetic bag for a 14 day Yukon trip - which hasn’t happened yet. In preparation is spent three days in Iowa at 15 degrees - windy and snowy on a pad - no tent. Bag performed as expected. Little cold by morning due to wind but if I had a tent I would have been toasty. Bag quality is great.

Fluffy Goodness

Warm, packs down well for its rating. I’ve only had it down to low 20s inside a light fighter 1 tent and on a mountain research aerostat syn pad. I left the bag half unzipped for most of night and never got cold. Great bag, would definitely purchase again.

Yummy Warmth

I purchased this bag in the early Fall of 2017, and I have used it in multiple overnight backpacking trips with the lows at the 20 degree mark paired with my sleep clothes and a Therm- a-rest neoair xtherm and I am always comfortably warm, so much that I could go lower and still remain comfortable. In fact, the only time I don't bring this bag is in the summer months. This was my first down bag and I have not been disappointed.

Incredible Quality

Just bought the 6'6" Western Mountaineering Badger MF 15 degree bag. I'm 6'3" and its amazingly roomy. The quality of workmanship is over the top. 1st outing will be in June 2018 at a 12,500' alpine lake in Colorado. I should be plenty warm!

Excellent

I bought this bag for a sheep hunt in Alaska. It was very comfortable and kept me warm and dry in wet conditions. I'd definitely recommend this
