Poor Quality
Poor quality shoes. Look practically new but glue is failing on the sole and it's coming apart.

Great Shoe
Comfortable shoe for all day wear. New stylish design with an old school feel. Only complaint is VANS no longer included sticker on shoes.

Fell Apart Within A Year
I bought these shoes a little less than a year ago. All I do is walk in them yet the white edge of the sole has separated from the gum sole in multiple places. When I step in water they flood. Very poor quality for the price.

Love These Shoes
These have been the first vans that caught my eye in awhile, glad they're doing retro designs since these are what I tend to like

Kate Old Skool 36+ Gum Shoe
I bought a pair for Christmas and 30 days later the soul of the shoe started to come off. I brought it into the Mission Valley location and they immediately ordered me another pair for free.

This Style And Comfort Brought Me Back To Vans Shoes
Back in high school I would wear vans all the time but over the years my foot became wider so they always had a slim tight fit that eventually became uncomfortable. Recently I tried the new skool ones but didn't like the fat stripes and the fat tongue. They looked to puffy from above. Fast forward to the 36+. These are a slight bit wider fit with the slim stripe on the side but the comfort of the puffy tongue. And now combined with the pop cushion insoles, these are the most com fortable vans I've ever worn. I bought the black ones on the spot and since then I've bought every color except the new orange and maroon ones simply cause I can't match the colors with my clothes. All that being said awesome shoes and I can't recommend them enough, especially for a slightly wider foot. Sorry for the long review I'm just a huge fan of the 36+ style. Please restock the dark green ones,

Skate Old Skool 36+ Shoe
I really wanted to like the shoe and that first the shoe does feel absolutely comfortable, but prolong wear more than a couple of hours of being out and somehow your toes get smashed at the very cup, where the toes are at to the point where it starts to become agonizing it hurts later on. I've seen other reviews on here where others are having trouble with it as well. The direction was perfect of where they were going with the shoe, but I believe they neglected the tow area and the pressure from the padding would have on that I like them so much I bought two pairs you can only wear them for a few minutes at a time.

Good Shoe But Puffy Tongue
I'm 40 now and can only wear vans that have the better insoles. Until these, I've basically stuck to the Rowan 1s and have had probably 15 pairs of those. I appreciate that vans is making more shoes with a wider toe box. Very roomy and very comfortable and insoles make them almost feel like a running shoe which is nice. Shoe fit is very secure. You can wear them untied or tied tight. My one and only gripe is the tongue would still have the same puffy look if it had half the thickness. If you don't tie them really tight, they look like "kid shoes" and do t fit a straight leg pant leg well. Hoping the tongue compresses as they break in.... But that's all just personal preference. Get your normal vans size. Reading other reviews, I see people recommend sizing up and I don't understand why.

Great Shoe
These shoes are comfortable and well put together. Toe box is roomy and the pop cush insole are great for all day comfort. Minimal break in. # sweepstakes

On The Fence
When I first bought them they were pretty good. I wear them for work, never skated in them or abused them per se. But after about 6 months of every day wear, the bottoms are coming apart on the front and back. A shame I really liked these, maybe a faulty pair. I'm on the fence on getting another pair as they're kinda pricey for old skools

Look Cool But Fall Apart Quick
Have now bought 2 pairs of these and wore both daily, but both pairs had the underside of the toe come open letting in dirt/mud within a few months.
