I loved it on my first hike through Glacier National Park. 10 steps into my second ever hike with the product, I tried to tighten my hip strap and the buckle shattered.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a North Face Terra 65 in 2014 as a bargain backpack to meet the unique requirements of a non-standard military unit I became part of. For almost ten years, the Terra 65 stood up to the test of being used and abused in a vast array of different climates in remote sections of the world. After my retirement from that line of work, I decided to take up backpacking and the Terra 65 continues to meet all the requirements I need. I've used it on trails across the country and I am still in love with the simplicity and functionality that gives the Terra 65 a classy look on the trail. I have no problem organizing my gear for easy access to things I need at a moment's notice. The heavy-duty materials used in this bag's construction give me peace of mind when it encounters obstacles and abuse from airport luggage handlers as well as difficult foliage and terrain that I feel would otherwise rip lighter, more expensive bags. I could on about the other features but if you really want to know, I'd say get one and find out for yourself. The only cons that come to mind are the weight of the pack. While it's rugged and after 10+ years of hard use is nearly in the same condition as when I purchased it, it's a penalty if you're trying to keep it light. It's not that much of a penalty, but this isn't the pack for you if you're trying to do UL. The other thing I've found dissatisfaction with are the shoulder straps. I'm a man with a larger frame and the shoulder straps will bunch up or roll up and cut into my side. So, unless your trail nickname is "slim" or "twiggy", pay attention to how you fit and size the pack and be prepared for some discomfort. It's more of a nuisance than a deal-breaker but it is still a factor to consider when looking at this pack.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently purchased the North Face Terra 65L Internal Frame Pack, and it has exceeded all my expectations. The build quality is exceptional, with durable materials that have held up to rugged terrain and inclement weather without a hitch. The 65L capacity is perfect for extended trips, providing ample space for all my gear without feeling bulky or cumbersome. The internal frame design offers excellent support and weight distribution, making long hikes much more comfortable. I especially appreciate the numerous pockets and compartments, which keep my gear organized and easily accessible on the trail. Overall, the North Face Terra 65L is a top-notch backpack that I highly recommend to any outdoor enthusiast looking for reliability and performance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this pack! It's got more than enough room for my gear. The material is of great quality and I really enjoy the colors. I was completely comfortable on my first nearly ten mile out and back backpacking trip that I just recently took.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sturdy. Love the storage. Especially, the new pockets around the waist band where I can keep my phone/camera for easy access. The bucket pockets on the side for water bottles is big and versatile. I had the an older Terra model and this is definitely an upgrade with all the new features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't taken this bag out on a multi-day trip yet but I've played around with sizing and fitting and it seems to be a solid bag! Can't wait to take it out for the real deal!

I used this pack for the first time on a 12 mile round trip overnight stay at a lake. It held everything I needed - I am an over packer too - and I still had room to pack out a few extra things like camp garbage. The hip support pads were nice and cushioned and didn’t chafe my skin like other packs, but I did notice my hips more sore than normal the day after. I wish there was more exterior pockets for smaller items, but the top cover having such a large pocket did the trick for me to access things like headlamp, bug spray, and some snacks. I’m very loyal to TNF brand and was reluctant to replace my well used spectrum pack, but very happy with my purchase and look forward to more use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this pack since 2009 and was still in perfect condition. No tears, zippers worked perfectly. Unfortunately had a bottle of 100% deet explode on a rafting expedition on the Lower Deschutes that melted it. Bought the same one again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great backpack! The Terra 65 easily and comfortably handled the entire Appalachian Trail (2,193.1 Miles). There are a ton of features including side pockets to access your water bottles as well as bottom straps that can hold your sleeping mat. Overall, it comfortably handled the weight and was extremely durable. I've been using the Terra 65 since 2012 and will continue to do so for years to come!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago for my son. He has used it twice already. He’s super excited to use this camping along the water. Perfect size to hold off of his supplies. He was excited because it matched his tent.
