Stio Jkt

awesome jkt!- great cut- love the hood and the high chest pockets- the fact that the hood is removable s fantastic- snow skirt sits well above my bobs

High Quality

I just received the Environ Jacket for Christmas and I’m very happy to be part of the Stio community. The quality and workmanship are outstanding—there’s no doubt about it. I’ve already had it out on the slopes and worn it in a storm, and it performed exactly as expected. In fact, I liked it so much that I just purchased the down sweater to use as a layering piece underneath. My only minor complaint is that I wish the powder skirt came down a bit further over my backside. It tends to ride up when bending over, and I find myself having to pull it down. But that said, I'm still giving the coat 5 stars. I love it.

Best Ski Jacket On Earth

Perfect in every way. Worn this jacket 100+ times in the last 3 years and it has held up immaculately. Looking forward to the next 100+ ski days spent in my Stio…

Very Weak Fabric Tears Easily

My son used this jacket skiing and got a rip almost immediately. I have never seen a supposedly high end ski jacket tear so easily - Arc Teryx, Patagonia, North Face etc. we have had for years and many ski days with no tears, but this fabric got a clean tear after just a few uses and no other wear or tear, probably just from skiing trees. Rips are not covered by warranty so in this case you’re just out of luck. I would not recommend for any kind of active use.

Best Design, Deserves Better Material

Of all the ski shells, parkas, jackets, etc etc etc I have used in 50 years of skiing, the design of the Environ Jacket is the best. Thank you especially for the stand up collar. Most time on the mountain is spent without a hood over my helmet and the collar is perfect, especially for clear cold days. Two things I would change. 1. I ski deep powder but do not need or want a powder skirt (solution in want of a problem. ). 2. This amazing jacket deserves to be made in a better fabric that is lighter. GoreTex Pro 3L (maybe add a stand up collar jacket version to the Objective pro line). Also there is room somewhere in the world for a Schoeller C-Change stretch version of this jacket for lighter more active days. I find myself reaching for lighter weight robust shells comparable to the Objective Pro more than the Environ Jacket due to bulk. I would buy this jacket again in a higher quality fabric in a heartbeat.
