These just dig into my heel terribly. I’ve race the previous years shoes in two marathons and loved them. These were a huge miss

Me So Very Fast

Very comfortable. I never ran in my life and now I run faster than Usain Bolt

Achilles Blisters

Just have others have mentioned, these tore up my Achilles. It’s too bad because they would be a great, stable race shoe without this design flaw. For me, it made them unwearable.

My Go-to Shoe

I have purchased the Endorphin Pro 4 for about two years now my go to race shoe from 5k's to half marathons and over 19 Hyrox races. I tried the new Endorphin Pro 5 and did not think the shoe could get better and it exceeded my expectations. I have purchased 5 Pro 5's already. The color ways are very cool too!

Will Destroy Your Heels - Be Forewarned

Been running in Saucony for 20 plus years at the Marathon distance. The fatal flaw of the heel design on this model cannot be overcome. 5 miles into my first run in these shoes and I have the worst blister that I have ever encountered running. I highly discourage anyone from buying this particular model until the design issue is sorted.

Fantastic, But With A Fatal Flaw

These shoes are fantastic in every way, except for the poorly designed heal collar. As other people noted, it sticks up higher and presses into the Achilles. Despite wearing higher socks and applying a chafing balm, I blistered on my first run and had to return these shoes. Otherwise, the shoe felt perfect. Springy, light, and fast, while still feeling stable and accommodating for my slightly wide feet through the ball of the foot. I agree with reviews that describe it as a the perfect gateway super shoe for those that prioritize stability or heavier runners that don’t sweat a couple extra grams. Saucony only has to fix the heal collar! Maybe adapt the design of the Triumph 24 or the Speed 5?

Well….

Saucony Pro 4 Vs Pro 5 in my experience -Firmer -Not as comfortable -Somehow even with a slotted plate feels slower + for me, no heal issues as reported by others on a 15 mile marathon pace training run. Decent rotation shoe for training on fresh legs. I wouldn’t use this for any racing whereas the Pro 4’s I could use for any race and found stability, comfort and speed was reliable and a great all around performer.

Awesome shoe. Super light and easy to log long miles. The shoe just wants to go making your effort seamless. . Highly recommend. Only complaint, I needed to wear thicker socks, the back of the shoe is stiff to start but wore in nicely.

Great Looking Shoes Horrible Durability

Barely have worn these shoes had them less than 2 months use them as casual sneakers and the sole is already coming apart. I don't believe i wore these more than 12x. Customer has been slow and asked for order number, pictures and receipts (not sure why they would need a receipt if I gave them the order number). I can't imagine if I'd have used these for running.

Fast

Love it, big upgrade from my Nike Alphafly, just right

Not Bad

Very light but material peels very easily when road running

I have a few pairs of EP 4 and they are a great shoe. Recently bought the EP 5 version and they gave me the most painful blisters on my heel Achilles area . So disappointed as I don’t think I can wear them again and very disappointing considering the price !

Great Ride, But The Heel Collar Is Unworkable (Blisters)

I bought these a couple months ago after loving the Endorphin Pro line. The good-the shoe is comfortable, stable and quick, and feels great at faster paces. While I noted a few reviews mentioning the heel rub, I brushed it off thinking it couldn't be that bad. It was awful, and even after taping my ankles to try to counteract the rub, these delivered a good sized blister to each of my heels. As such, I am now looking for a new racing shoe. That has never been an issue with a Saucony shoe for me before and I really hope they get it sorted because the new plate feels great in the 5 versus the 4.

Lightweight And Great Support!

I've got about 30 miles on them so far. I'm coming back from a bad case of metatarsalgia. Doctor recommended finding the stiffest shoe to alleviate the hard flex of my foot and ball of foot. Run Runrepeat had a great article that led me straight to the Saucony Endorphin Pro 5. The stiffness of the shoe has given me the ability to run again. They are also VERY lightweight.
