Like Walking On Clouds

Most Uncomfortable Shoe I’ve Run In
I typically run in the Sense Ride and have for years. I was looking for something similar that would serve as a substitute now that the Sense Ride doesn’t seem to be geared toward distance running. These shoes were not it. I took them on a short test run of 10 miles. They felt like a lot of shoe, but like they could have potential. When I took them on a middle-distance run of 20 miles, my feet were in so much pain I could barely walk at the end and my feet ached all night. I’ll never run in them again. They are just far too rigid and bulky.

Love These Shoes!
Great support, especially arch support! Have never had any Salomon product I did not love. My daughter just started wearing Salomon from my incessant raving about them!

Cushioned, But Not Too Much
These are my "go to" trail shoes now. The Genesis is fantastic on various surfaces and trails. I run on dirt, loose rocks, embedded rocks, and grassy trails, primarily. I am able to maneuver confidently and nimbly in these shoes. They are very comfortable with some good cushion but not too much. I still feel connected to the terrain.
