I completed the Camino de Santiago and my feet never hurt once. These shoes were incredibly comfortable from start to finish and handled long days of walking with ease. Great cushioning, support, and overall comfort. I would highly recommend them for long walks, multi-day hikes, or anyone looking for a comfortable shoe for covering long distances

This is my second pair of Salomons and the first running type from them. I love this shoe. It's very comfortable and sturdy feeling without looking bulky. Wide enough in the toe box for a full day of activity without pinching or hot spots. I love the lacing system for a running shoe and I've even started to pair this with skirts and dresses for a really funky fashion moment while feeling fabulous in my feet and ankles. Win!

I love this shoe. I've been wearing Salomon for years. The fit is hit or miss for me. I wear an 11 narrow and these actually fit! And the traction and grip are great. I just hope they don't stretch out too much with wear.

Salomon has been my go-to brand for over 25 years. They always fit, are comfy, and last. But this pair has to be one of my all-time faves. Super lightweight, fit perfectly and are ridiculously comfortable. Might have to grab a second pair! (Note: I read reviews before purchasing, and ordered half a size smaller. It was the right call.)

I tried on the XT6, the whisper, the genesis, and one other style and they all cause tingling where the laces strap down where the front of the ankle meets the top of my arch.

I have multiple pairs of Salomon's but have not purchased walking/running shoes before. I just got these and I absolutely love them, they are so comfortable and have perfect support!

I wore these shoes on a 10 day trip. City walking and mountain hiking. They worked great. I normally wear a 7.5 and had to return for a size 7

I hate to leave a negative because I am such a huge fan of Salomon’s overall. My favorite hiking/walking shoe of all time is the 2023 women’s elixir. Having plates and screws in my foot and a weak ankle due to 9 mos in a boot, I crave protection, these do not have it. They are too thin, they feel almost flimsy and you can feel everything through them. The exterior is also a cheap finish which doesn’t appear like it will last any time or even 1 decent length hike. Not my favorite purchase - they have improved the fast tie though, it stays snug even when angling your foot constantly on rougher terrain. If they allowed returns after wearing one time, I would have returned them.

Shoes fit fine, and are very breathable…but make the weirdest noise with every step, on both hard and soft surfaces.

Loving this shoe. Previously wore Sense Rides for years and then the S/Lab Ultra they discontinued. Had to go one half size smaller for this shoe than usual Salomon size to get a snug fit. Grateful they shortened the laces from last year's model!

I was a bit skeptical at first ;However, I was pleasantly surprised. (I was previously running in the Thrundercross) I not only trained in but ran the Crown King 50K in these and am still running in them as my lugs are still relatively decent. They have held up quite nicely, and believe you me I have kicked some rocks in Arizona! I have had no blisters, loss of toenails, or hotspots. I actually had a couple of water crossings in my race and the shoes dispersed the water pretty amazingly, not holding the water. I love the upper it allows for breathability. Solomon's lacing is one of my favorite things about their shoes, as you don't have to worry about your laces coming undone mid race. Again great shoe. please don't change it or discontinue it =)

I was skeptical as I wore the Thundercross previously. However, This shoe did not disapoint. I ran trained and ran Crown King 50K in these had no blister, hotspots, or lost toenails. and believe you me I was kicking some rocks in Arizona, with 7200 feet of gain!

I ordered these shoes to replace my previous pair of 'everyday' shoe. I chose them based on the amount of cushioning as well as the tread patterns. After about a month of use, I am really happy with how comfortable they are to stand and walk in (8hrs+ often on concrete flooring). I've taken them out through the ravine for trails; the traction feels very secure and I could feel any slight change in ground texture and unevenness - each step feels confidently planted. Lastly, I tried them while riding my bike (daily commuter) - material of the upper is very comfortable for pedalling and the tread engages nicely with the flat platform of my pedals. The Matrix material feels very breathable, which is very appreciated as we head into the warmer temperatures! Overall, this is my go-to shoes now. Work, exercise, play and lounge!
