The cutting-edge Flite Drive system heightens gear stability and delivers exceptional smoothness, allowing you to tackle the biggest catches with ease

  • Advanced Technology: Benefit from the state-of-the-art CFR: Cyclonic Flow Rotor technology that boosts airflow to reduce water retention and dry your reel faster, minimizing corrosion risks for more extended gear life
  • Ergonomic Strength: The Stratus 7's rigid metal handle is engineered for added strength and resilience. The EVA foam handle knobs on sizes 10-40 provide comfort during long battles, while the larger 60-size reels feature Ergo Grip handle knobs, which are designed for a more ergonomic and secure grip
  • Premium Construction: Enjoy the sleekness and reliability of the machined aluminum, two-tone anodized spool, and trust the Quick-Set anti-reverse roller bearing to eliminate back-play for instant hook sets

Great Spinning Reel

Great deal on this reel. It has been working well for me.

Okuma Does Not Stand By Their Products After You Buy Them

I will never buy anything Okuma again. Their support after the sale is nonexistant.

Gets The Job Done

I paired the size 30 reel with daiwa aird x 7ft medium fast spinning rod. The black and gold accent match great with the rod. Using 10lb mono and throwing alot of weightless craws and worms. Casts and performs great.

Great Reels For The Money

I have 4 of these...the 1000, 3000, 4000 and 6000. They're great reels for the money especially as they're almost never at full price. If fishing from shore, these work just fine and should hold up.

Great So Far

Lightweight and super smooth. The handle is real comfortable. Matched it with a six foot typhoon as a bass rod.

Great Reel!

These were on sale and I had a $10 bonus box certificate so I decided to give one a try for $29.99 plus tax. Great little reel! SUUUUPER SMOOOOTH! I've only had it a couple of months so I can't attest to durability yet.

Very Durable

I have fished with Okuma reels for my 8 years in FL. The new Stratus 7 I bought is easy to rinse after fishing the beach, the drag can handle all in-shore species
