Crucial Protection For An Ultralight Investment

While ultralight purists often try to skip footprints to save every ounce, using NEMO's dedicated footprint pays for itself by preserving the waterproof integrity and long-term resale value of your tent. It's a non-brain protection layer for rough terrain.

It Goes Under Your Tent

It's a ground cloth. I might suggest that you need it with this tent, but also it is a bit awkward to set up with the tent. It's perfect once the tent is set up, but you might spend a while fidgeting with getting the two to fit perfectly, You would probably want to practice with it a bit before going out. Also, it would be cool if NEMO would publish a more detailed instruction video on setting up the Hornet 1P with footprint.

Added Durability

I'm pleased with the OSMO foot print, I wanted to make sure I had everything in place to keep our West Coast Trail Adventure as dry as possible. It was also great for added an extra layer between the gear and the sand. Thanks

A Must Have For The Hornet Tents!

I have a lot of NEMO gear and as always, this one does not disappoint. The footprint is a perfect fit and packs down easily a light. A great addition to my Hornet Osmo tent.

Works As Expected But Might Be Too Big

Does its job but it’s honestly a bit too big. The edges can slightly poke out around the tent risking water pooling if you’re not careful. I’d rather have something that is 95% the size of the tent so it’s easily covered by the tarp

Easy Install

Fits the tent pretty well but is undersized. It connects pretty seamlessly to the tent.

Does What It’s Meant To

I got it with my hornet tent, it fits great and fits great inside the bag. Works great and does its job amazing used it for a week straight and no problems.

When buying a premium tent, protect it with a great footprint! This fits great and helps me sleep better knowing my investment is protected!

Works Fine For Now

I got the 2p footprint. I don't get why companies sell footprints separately. (I mean, I do. It's for money) But I personally think all tents should come with a footprint. Anyways, it's functional. I still don't really know how to feel about how it connects to the tent. I'm skeptical that it's the best way. So far it's been fine. I agree with another review I saw that said the material of the footprint is slippery against the bottom of the tent.

Fits Perfectly

I previously had this footprint for years before it was left behind on a backpacking trip, it was wonderful! It was a no brainer to buy another. First off, it is light weight and takes up virtually no room in my pack and can fit into the Hornet tent stuff sack to keep things consolidated. When setting up, it clips in easily to the base of the tent poles and stays in place throughout the night. It is a must-have when camping, whether to have another layer off the ground or to keep the water out on rainy nights. It fit my tent perfectly, leaving me dry and warm while camping in wet spring weather.

Peace Of Mind

Used this in the Goat Rocks recently and it was perfect. It gave me a peace of mind that was absolutely worth it.

Heavy Duty And Unique

I prefer manufactured groundsheets or footprints for my tent. This seems to be thicker than past Nemo footprints. This is definitely the most unique footprint and fits the Hornet great.

Great Investment To Protect My Nemo Tent

This footprint fits my tent perfectly. It helps protect the tent floor against sharp objects. The footprint also helps keep the tent floor clean from dirt, mud and sap which helps extend the life of the tent. I used this footprint with my Nemo Hornet during some heavy rains and storms and it is cut so that water did not collect between the footprint and tent floor. The only downsize to it is that it is a bit heavy. For my Hornet Elite tent the footprint weighs almost a quarter of the weight of the tent itself.

Incredibly Convenient

10/10 recommend. Especially if you have a Nemo tent
