I had the original Stretchdown for years I loved that jacket. It was time to get a new one so when I received the updated model of the Stretchdown I immediately didn't like it. Compared to the old one the loft and puffiness felt so much less substantial. It felt very flat even after giving it time to loft out of the package. The Stretchdown material itself also felt weirdly crinkly? The old stretchdown was this nice sleek soft fabric this felt to the touch like cheap paper. The fit is strange. It's small at the shoulders and billowy at the bottom. I tried 2 sizes and both of them were odd. I saw another guy walking around with the same jacket and same thing the bottom part of the jacket looked too long/big. I don't know why they changed it but I returned this in favor of the Ghost Whisperer and I like the Ghost Whisperer better because the fit makes more sense.

First off the color is nothing like the picture. More of a navy blue rather than the bright blue in the photo. The sleeves are long and the cuffing on the sleeve is weird and doesn't have enough elasticity to keep the wind out, okay if you are wearing gloves. The arm holes are also weird and rub my armpits awkwardly. I got medium and im 5'9" 175 lbs

I bought one of these jackets a few years ago and liked it so much that I just got another one. Fits well, not too bulky but with great insulation, handy pockets to keep a toque or gloves ready to go. The last jacket held up well through several washes as well.

This jacket is great! I wear it by itself, and as a warm layer under my she’ll. I love how flexible it is while I’m active. The two-way zipper makes the jacket even more versatile.

Fits extremely well. No restrictions on movement. Lightweight. This will be my regular for years to come.

Don’t get these down filled jackets where the stitchings are staggered. Three down will eventually travel down and your shoulder and chest areas will not have significant insulation.

Got this about a month ago on a really good sale, perfect because I was planning on gettting one before. Great jacket, smooth exterior, somewhat slim fitting wrist cuffed and adjustable waist

A great feeling warm jacket! I have a 40" chest, 34" waist, 160 lbs and the medium fits great. Have worn in temps ranging from mid 30s to mid 40s and have been warm with just a cotton long sleeve under it. Love the stretch of the durable fabric and the matte green color. Also, this jacket doesn't have the "marshmallow look" of other downs. Overall, this is the best down jacket I have owned and look forward to years of use.

I LOVE this jacket, and it loves me! I love how light weight it is, the color, the feel, and the way they make their cuffs now is awesome. I would totally recommend this jacket!

I was a little hesitant about purchasing this as it seems so many companies use their name to sell their products instead of making good products. I am extremely happy with this product. I wanted this to use on my bikepacking adventures, so i wanted a lighter jacket that would pack away small yet still relatively warm. My last big name jacket was a total fail, poor quality and not very warm at all. This jacket is amazing, the fit, style, quality are the best i’ve seen. The best thing about this jacket is how incredibly warm it is. Soon after getting it we had some single digit and below zero temps and this kept the cold out. This will awesome when riding over high mountain passes and an extra layer to stay warm while sleeping if needed. I cannot express how happy i am with this purchase, I am sold on Mountain Hardware products and look forward to having more in my closet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this jacket to be my new everyday "throw-it-on-and-go" jacket, to replace my Nano Puff (drank too much beer and it shrunk in the middle, devastated.) I was just going to get another Nano Puff but decided to branch out. I loved my old jacket in every way so the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I am comparing it to that. Overall, I am perfectly pleased with this jacket, its very warm but not too hot, light-weight but a bit heavier and bulkier than the Nano Puff. I'm not a huge fan of the double zipper as it adds just that little bit of complexity to the task of zippin' up, BUT I am well aware than when the cases arise that I can use the double zip, I'll be glad I have it. I miss the interior breast pocket but then I remember that I have the same functionality with the exterior one on this jacket. I love that the baffles are woven, not stitched because the there are no threads to catch on branches whatever. Overall a very comfortable and warm coat to be my new Everyday Wearer and I am perfectly pleased with it as a replacement for my Nano Puff.

I ordered the brown color. The armpits and neck stained almost immediately, despite never sweating in this jacket. I am returning and purchasing a jacket made out of different material.

Awesomeness! Lightweight an very warm. The shipping process was excellent in the communications as I lost my confirmation email an had to work with customer service who were very professional a kind!!!
