Not Water Proof, And Barely Water Resistant

I bought this jacket a few months ago for my bike commute to work. Yesterday was the first day I wore it in the rain: it was light rain at about 1mm/hr. My ride is only 8km and takes about 25 mins. I was completely soaked through by about the halfway point. I've had water resistant jackets that kept me drier than this. I don't recommend this jacket for anything more than a short walk in drizzle. It's too bad because the fit and lightness is exactly what I was looking for,

Great Lightweight Rain Shell

I just received this jacket. I've only worn it in light to medium rain and it seemed to work just fine. It's very comfortable, very light, very packable, and I like the pit ventilation. Planning to take it to hike Hadrian's Wall this spring. Relatively trim fit, not baggy.

Breathable Performance With Design Considerations

While the Mountain Hardwear Stretch Ozonic Jacket excels in breathability, especially during active outdoor pursuits, a few design considerations could enhance its functionality. The absence of sealed side pockets, featuring a mesh back, is a notable point. Additionally, the lack of a chest or internal pocket limits convenient storage options. Another aspect to be mindful of is that the side pockets sit relatively low on the jacket, potentially causing inconvenience when seated, especially with items like a phone. This is exacerbated by the waist strap cinching over the pockets, making access challenging.

4th One And Still Not Waterproof

I've exchanged this jacket 4 times now, every single one exhibited signs of waterproofing issues when testing it after delivery. I gave up on this 4th one and decided to just go with it, how bad can it be? Very very bad. It's fine for very light rain/mist where having a rain jacket really doesn't even matter, but when it starts to really rain/pour this jacket fails. It was raining quite hard over this weekend and I had to go outside to check my downspouts. After about 15mins outside my entire right shoulder/back was wet. My neck was dry so it wasn't side rain coming in from the hood opening or anything, the jacket just plain let rain through the fabric. It's really unfortunate because the fit, color and stretch is really nice. Oh did I mention this 4th one came with a hole in the pocket? Yea, I can't put anything small in my right pocket....it's awesome.

Ridiculously Big

Seems nice, but I bought a small and it feels like an extra large. I even bought a second one to make sure it wasn't a fluke. This jacket is way too big to be practical, let alone stylish, and they don't make an XS. Will be returning and looking to other brands that know how to size properly.

Great Bicycling Jacket But Needs Elastic Cuffs

This is my second Ozonic stretch jacket. I like the first one enough to get another when it was on sale. Unfortunately, it didn't have as much stretch as the first one. The material seemed much stiffer. The only drawback with the jackets is the velcro on the cuffs. The sleeves just won't stay were you want them especially on bike rides. The cuffs really should be elasticized. Also, have been waiting for a half zip pull-over style for the best biking damp weather jacket. It is fairly warm, but ventilated, and is a very good wind breaker.

Poor Durability

On my second one and it’s failed again. Tore in the armpit when I lifted my arm overhead. Not recommended.

One Awesome Rain Jacket! Highly Recommend You Hunt One Down!!

Amazing fit, quality and function! This is a great replacement! After looking around for a replacement to another product this one won out over the competition!! Comfort, performance, quality and build are what sold me. I would choose this ten times over!!!! I’m sure it will be a while before I need another one but if I do I would choose this again!

Stretch Ozonic Jacket / Pants

The jacket/pants are light weight and pack small. Waiting to try them out in the rain.

Great Fit, Did Not Work As Expected

I bought this a month ago for our hiking trip in Mont Blanc and was disappointed with it. The jacket is supposed to be waterproof, however, it let water seep in the sleeve, jacket, etc. This was the first time use of the jacket

Great Light Waterproof Jacket

Used a few times already in varying amounts of rain. It’s surprisingly breathable and packs well! I’d highly recommend it for everyday use and on your hikes. It does run a bit larger.

Underarm Vents - Sold !

I needed something backpack friendly. I really wanted the paclight Gore-Tex, but they don't have underarm venting. Went with this, and even though it's not super light, it packs up well and is comfortable. Testing it's rain protection quality is yet to come...
