My first pair were great quality, great fit and lasted 6 years later I ordered and got a completely differently shoe - a glorified house slipper no where near the quality prior - so sad

I have fibromyagia, spondylitis and in chronic pain 24/7. I cant express how happy I was to find shoes that felt like a "warm hug". Living in Florida we do get a few cooler months. and the fur lining is soft enough that you dont need to wear socks. I plan on using them as my everyday outdoor shoes. Im normally a size 8 and they fit nicely, but not snug. If you prefer your shoes to fit snug, I would suggest going down half a size. Of course with this sale i went crazy and bought 2 pairs. The oyster color is so sharp with my blue jeans and I was very surprised to find the color Hazel to be better in person. Just a side note; it's a light beige/tan. I am wow about both. I would have liked to buy the tan, but it was sold out. Im waiting for the black and bracken to go on sale. I hope Merrell will consider making these Encore Ice in other colors. Id buy them all. Perhaps a pastel sage green, pastel light pink, pastel baby blue color to match blue jeans, indigo blue, and bone or stucco white. In the south we wear light colors all year round. Thank you Merrell for enabling me to be able to walk again, with no pain. Im in heaven.

Unfortunately the encore ice 5 is nothing like previous encore shoes. Not nearly the support - the fur has rubbed off exposing the back that feels awful against my foot - sadly will never purchase again.

I love all the encores but the last couple of orders I got rid of due to the sizing was more like an 11 than a 10.

Great for winter and easy slip on and off. I wear them when it’s cold outside. I can wear them to the doctor or down to the arena when it’s chilly outside. They are dressy enough to fit in anywhere. They are also very comfortable.

Love these shoes. Have bought multiple pairs over the years. Generally takes a couple of years before wearing out.

I wear these all Fall-Early spring. They are warm and fuzzy, great to walk in and, at times, double as slippers. This is the 7th pair I have owned.

My last pair of these, which I wear all winter, were looking worn after at least ten years of use. I was delighted to see that they are still being manufactured, so I ordered a black pair and a brown pair.

Eight years ago I ordered two pairs of these and the second pair bit the dust recently. So I ordered these to replace them and am extremely disappointed over the quality difference, especially the interior of the shoe which is skimpy, not as cushioned or comfortable as before. Congratulations on ruining a great shoe.

This is the first Merrell shoe I have not been happy with. After very light use, you can see the fur trim has already rubbed off. While these shoes are not uncomfortable, they are not the most comfortable either. Minimal arch support and they feel flimsy on my feet. I have been buying Vionic and Naot and been very happy with them. They get a lot of great reviews, but I am not a huge fan.

I like the way they fit like a warm hug and stay put. Comfortable and easy to wear all day.

Bought these in black. Wear them a lot. Very comfortable. Fine in the snow or the ice.

I wear as slippers in the house - better arch support than standard slipper. Wish they had the smooth leather version from 15-20years ago
I love the fit and use of these shoes but was wondering if maybe I was sold "seconds." The fur on ne shoe rolls over nicely and is decorative but on the other shoe, barely rolls over at all. the two shoes look very different.

I had to size down 1/2 a size. I had my last pair about 10+ years
