I like the style and feel of the sunglasses but it seems that I am not the only one seeing the lenses scratch so easily. I have only owned this pair for about 1 year.

Disappointed

I really like the glasses style and fit, but the lenses have become so scratched up that the glasses aren't wearable anymore because the scratches are so distracting. I've had the glasses for a little over a year and whenever they are not on my face they are in the case so I do not quite understand how the lenses got so scratched. I have two other pairs of Maui Jim sunglasses that are worn in the same lifestyle and barely have a scratch on them at all.

Nice But Scratch Easy

I love these glasses, but I am disappointed that the lenses do scratch so easily compared to my other glasses from other brands. After a year lenses pretty much need replacement.

The Only Sunglasses I Wanted To Buy Again

I originally bought a pair of Pailolo sunglasses and unfortunately lost them. That alone was enough to realize just how much I loved them. The fit, comfort, and clarity were better than any sunglasses I had owned before. I liked them so much that I didn't just replace them, I bought two new pairs so I would always have a backup. The lenses are outstanding, they are comfortable enough to wear all day, and they perform equally well on the golf course, at the beach, or driving. If you're considering the Pailolo, I can honestly say they are worth every penny.

Easy To Scratch

I had the same issue with this pair the lenses where scratching easy. I bought another pair of maui and had no problem . Must be a quality issue with this pair.

Please Make With Super Thin Glass

Lenses easily scratched. Style of the frames and fit is perfect for me. I own 4 other pairs of Mauis currently and have had over a dozen over the last 15 years. I’m a licensed professional in the optical field and I care for my lenses properly and these lenses fall short of the mark. If they were offered in the glass material I’d purchase another pair but til then I’ll pass. The people giving low reviews just because they didn’t fit are crazy. The responsibility is on you as the buyer to try something like sunglasses on before you buy it. Rate the quality of the product and not the lack of your own responsibility.

Good Sunglasses But Scratch Easily

Good pair but not as resilient as other Maui Jim pairs purchased in the past. This is my fifth pair and I own two Paliolos- with and without prescription. Scratched very easily with regular daily wear and usage. The prescription lens appears to be better quality but that’s just my experience. I also require large frames and this one fits a tad too tight for the stated dimensions. Red Sands is a better fit for large headed folks like me requiring XL sunglasses.

Not Worth The Price

Cheap quality. The lenses scratch easily and ironically with the provided lense cloth.

They were returned. The glasses were too big for my face which I could not detect from the website

Love the lenses color, but the lenses on the inside looks like the coating is coming off and looks scratched. Outside lens looks great. Makes zero sense.

Bad Lenses

Love the frames, but the lenses are too easily marred on the inside. Oddly enough, the cloudiness and scratching is on the inside of the lenses. I’m not sure how I did that much damage without the outside being scratched hardly at all.

Don't Buy

Theses sunglasses are a complete joke. Already sent them in once (at my expense) for the poor quality lenses others have referenced. The 'repaired' lenses have numerous scratches and the view through them is cloudy. This is unacceptable and makes me question this once formidable brand.

Poor Quality

Love the frames but the lenses scratched within a week. Frames are amazing but the lenses are poor quality for MJ.

Loved the look and Frames but the lenses after a short time are blurry and have scratches and delamination all over
