Great Boot, My 2nd Pair

This is a very solid boot. My first pair has held up great. Size 15. As I aged and lost some foot arch my foot lengthened making them tight - so ordered the same boot in a size 16. Can't go wrong with these. I love the very solid sole support for any uneven terrain. Look great also. Highly recommend.

So Far So Good…

First pair of Keen Targhee boots in mid/wide. My foot size is 6.5 4E so finding a shoe is tough. So far lots of room in the toe box and comfortable out of the box. Been wearing Merrill Moab boots for years and have been happy with those replacing every year and a half due to wearing out the sole. Looking to see if these Targhee 2 boots last a bit longer.

I have owned at least 50 pairs of these, this pair feels good as usual but feels like the insert has a lot less arch support than I have had over the years. Also my last 3 pairs have had a lot of the molding come off, had to glue back on. Hopefully these will do better.

Don't Recommend

Have had these for 2 months. I wear them as a crude oil transport driver and I do military style cardio daily. Soles are coming off and the toe box area now has zero padding. I was excited to have a great pair of hikers, unfortunately these are a complete disappointment.

Love The Full Front Toe, Sole Is Disappointing.

Love the shoe. Ready to get another pair. But the sole is a disappointment as the black undersole continues to detach from the grey base in multiple places.

Targhee II both mid and low are the best shoe available, I have worn them exclusively since 2005. Please do not discontinue.

I wore Hokas for years which worked out well. I need more toe room and more stability so I purchased Keens. Very comfortable and durable.

Look Good, Feel Comfortable

These boots look good, feel good. Time will tell if they stand up to vigorous hiking or will the toes separate, as some purchasers claim happens.

Long Lasting.

I have been wearing Keen hiking boots for 15+ years. They last me about a year while wearing them almost daily. So the quality is there and comfort too.

Great Boots, It Took Ten Years To Wear Them Out.

I bought these over ten years ago for backpacking, but for the last couple of years I have been wearing them as my everyday shoe because they are so comfortable, and they provide great support. I am sorry to be getting rid of them, but the soles no longer have tread, and some of the stitching is coming apart. Not bad for a decade or more of use.

Still One Of The Best Boots To Hike In

I've had many Keen boots along the way. I have a pair of Targhee IV that are very good to walk in. I bought these because they hold my feet well. They come in a wide size which I need. And the soul is what's known as aggressive and I really like this. I can walk and stay up and go up and down hills and Dales and through forest and I can stay connected to the Earth. Not every shoe I have bought to hike in has been as good as this. I'm not really a fan of the modern trail runners used as hiking and backpacking boots. . These hold my feet and it holds to the Earth and my feet don't get nearly as sore or a squashed and narrow foot patterns as many of those trail runners that are supposed to be so good. I live in the southeast. This means that slick rocks roots mud and sand are all over the place when you're going to go out into the woods. And it will make you securely go through it and you won't even realize how tough it would've been in trail runners. To each his own. These are good they're comfortable they keep you secure to the Earth and they don't hurt your feet. Make sure if you've got a little bit water foot go ahead and get the Wides because it is worth it.

Comfortable And Durable

I just wrote another review for a different color, but exact style. This is the fifth pair I bought. Extremely comfortable, durable, and affordable. Excellent interior and exterior construction is perfect for any weather. I ride an e-bike to and from work on city roads. The boots provide impeccable protection for the commute. KEEN boots are the only footwear I buy for daily use. I have been buying them for many years.
