I read the other review mentioning how the cover shrunk despite being extra cautious but figured it was a fluke. It wasn't. The sheet did indeed shrink despite me washing it on cold/delicate and then hanging it dry. Now it's useless, because it won't fit. It's a shame, because I've had Exped pads for 15 years and I'd never sleep on anything else, they're that good. Come on Exped! Pre-shrink these things. It's not hard.

The sheet is definately cotton. Unfortunately, it barely fit on my megamat straight out of the package, then I washed it in cold water and air dried it to try and minimize shrinkage. Once dried, it had shrunk enough that there was no way to get it to fit. I had been using the nylon version with the draw string which has always fit well.

I have both Mat Cover and this cotton one. The cotton one stays on better even though the Mat Cover has a mid underbelly strap. The cotton isn't the best you normally get for a mattress. Course threads. I use it daily. I like it so much, I bought two.
