My Favorite Pants!!

I bought these last year. They are my most favorite pants. I am so much cooler wearing these and they look nice on. I bought 2 more this year. I highly recommend them! I have not worn them as shorts yet but willing to try on the next hot day. I do love that they also protect you from the suns rays.

Poor Mesh Pockets

Poor stitching around mesh pockets. Hole appeared in both rear pockets. Almost lost my wallet and phone

Perfect For Traveling And They Last For Ages.

I just bought my 6th (or 7th?) pair over the years and the first in a while and I came here to mention the welcome upgrades. They have increased the width of the belt so it should have less chance of getting twisted. And they have marked the L & R zippers with colors so they're easier to attach. If you're traveling to a hot climate and perhaps visiting temples, churches, or mosques in conservative countries, the ability to change into long pants with extensions that can roll up and fit in your pocket will be a huge bonus.

Winter Cruise

I am a female and I bought these for a Cruise to cut down on my luggage . With the different weather. These are the Perfect pants to shorts ratio

I Recommend You Do Not Buy These Side Ways Pocket

These are the most worthless pants i have ever purchased. Shocked at columbia for making pants for men for so many years then someone exchanged the common sense cargo pocket to a SIDE WAYS ZIPPER POCKET - WHO THUNK OF THIS?! I purchased, what I thought were the same design pants I have been purchasing for over a decade , but they are not. They are trying to hide the side ways pocket in this display, but either way DO NOT BUY THESE PANTS, BECAUSE THE FIRST YOU PUT THEM ON, YOU WILL REALIZE THE LEFT POCKET WILL DUMP EVERYTHING OUT, WALLET, PHONE, ETC. WHAT EVER YOU PUT IN IT.

Started tearing in seams in less than 2 years. Not good quality, but best utility pants.

Small Waist

The waist size on this indicate they are a 32, however, they are small and fit more like a 30 inch waist. Make sure you check the fit before you wash.

Nice Casual Light Weight Pant

Purchased this pant recently in a different color of other pants I already had. I found the waist to be a little snug and the length a bit longer than what I normally wear. It's still a nice casual light weight pant that is perfect for humid type weather. Not crazy about the open pocket in the back, but it does have a zippered pocket for wallet.

Great Features

I bought 3 pairs of these. I know, seems excessive. I was slightly over weight at the time at 34/32 rather than my usual 32/33. So 2 pairs of the sand colored (1 pair at each size) and one pair of gray at 32/32. The rear seat pockets on the 34/32 quickly started to unravel3 months after I bought them. I was losing weight (happily), so I started wearing the smaller sizes. At that point, the pockets on the gray pair started to unravel too. I sent the sand colored 34/32 pair back to Columbia who promptly returned them without fixing them saying they needed a receipt! Who keeps a receipt for that long. And it is not as if they don't say 'Columbia' all over them. All left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. Probably won't buy Columbia again.

Great Hiking Pants

Wanted some zip off pants to use for hiking and these are amazing. They dry so quick and didn’t tear or scratch after a long hike through thick brush.

Very Poor Stitching

I wore these pants 6-8 times and noted that the stitching for the pockets and the crotch had separated. No longer able to place items in both rear pockets. Very poor continuous stitching in what is billed as a durable outdoor item of clothing.

Best Pants - Even For Women!

These are the best pants ever!! As a woman, I originally tried on the two versions of the women's convertible pants, but they are completely inferior. Besides the difference in fit, the men's pant comes with a belt (this adjusting buckle type of belt is the best and stays put even when hiking) and the women's does not. Additionally, this pant has pockets on both thighs and two in the back, and the women's has half that and are much less useful. I love the variety in pocket types in this pant (open vs zip vs velco flap), great for storing my dirty bits and paper map and fire starter all separately. Super lightweight, so wearing the full pant never seems like overkill. I have five pairs of this pant now, with plans to buy more! The most versatile pant, perfect for any trip!

My First Pair Of Hiking Pants

Super comfy pair of hiking pants. Fit perfect with the belt and they were lose enough to hike comfortably. I appreciated all the pockets, they came in handy on my hike. The pants also kept me warm on a windy day. Made me feel like a true hiker 😊 I'm a woman by the way and loved this pair of pants.

These Pants Won't Last One Season Or Wearing.

Very nice pants but are not durable. The stitching holding the back pockets could not withstand less than 10 wearings. The majority of the time worn was standing and fishing on a boat. I would not buy them again.

Buyer Beware!

Great idea and I original loved the pants. Bought them beginning of summer and used them as shorts. Then when I went to zip the legs back on, the shorts had totally faded, and I had two tone pants! Buyer beware! Should have just bought shorts and pants separately.
