Our staffy is using the Tail Wagon as her couch when we hang out in the living room. The bed is made of a tough, suede-like fabric that stands up to her clawing, her ritual of "arranging her bed" before she settles in. Since the bed perfectly fits in the wagon, the position of the bed within the wagon does not shift even after "arranging".
Our doggo also likes to stand up in the wagon with her front paws on the top bars when we bike (I think so she can see more and not just the back wheel and our behind). The bed supports her back paws so she can do this because the suede-like fabric provides some traction, and also because the bed is tightly fitted into the wagon and does not slip around.
