Okay Shoes
Okay shoes. A bit disappointed that I can see the glue along some edges. Makes it feel sort of cheap. I will be getting a 0.5 size larger than usual due to feeling a little tight in the toe box, but that is not too unusual for me.

Love Them, Just One Small Complaint
I give it a 4 star, only because the toungue is oddly small and the laces untie too often on their own. other than that, so comfortable, and I love them and will buy again.

First Brooks Pair And Disappointed.
I bought this pair over Black Friday and was excited to try them on for a 3 mile walk. The shoes hugged too tightly right at the lower parts of my ankles. They're not very comfortable. The On Cloud and Hoka shoes I have are much more comfortable to wear all day long. These won't be for me. Very disappointed since I've read Brooks shoes are one of the best ones out there. Maybe another version of Brooks is more suitable to my feet. I so want to return these but I can't since I've worn them out on my long walk.

Does Not Compare To Revel 6, But It Is Still A Great Shoe!
I will give these shoes 4 stars because they are a little stiff right out of the box. They also cannot compare to the Revel 6 shoes I've been wearing for the past year. The Revel 6 shoes were so great and so comfortable. I wore them down to hardly anything on the soles. The Revel 8's are not the same, but they are still a nice shoe. I'm happy with my purchase. Now that I've broken them in over the past week, they do feel more comfortable. And I just put custom insoles in them, and now they're nearly a perfect shoe. As some others stated, the tongue of the shoe is a tad bit weird, like it is not long enough or something. I just wish they could leave shoes the same or offer the older styles for purchase. Helpful information: I wear a size 8.5 and bought an 8.5. Perfect fit. I had my feet measured at a local running store, and they told me I should buy a wide shoe. Considering that my Revel 6's were standard size, I decided to buy the Revel 8 in wide and standard. I liked the feel of both, but over a week of wearing them both, I decided the wide had too much room in the toebox, and I could feel my foot slipping around. The standard size feels more secure on my foot, which is what I personally want for running, walking, exercising, etc. I also bought the white/chateau gray. It is a really nice looking shoe and matches with everything I already wear.
