Too Tight In The Middle Of The Shoe W Smaller Toebox

Agree with others that the shoe is too tight in the middle with a smaller toe box. I tried wearing them around the house for 2 days with the laces loose so there was no pressure from them, but still more than uncomfortable verging on painful. They’re so tight, going up a half-size wouldn’t be enough, and I can’t imagine going up a full size but I’ll try it, as it looks like Brooks doesn’t make these in wide. I’ve worn Brooks Glycerins, regular width, same size, for over 10 years and they’ve always fit perfectly and I’ve never needed to break them in. I’d hoped the Cascadia 19 would be the same experience. Now I’m wondering if the Glycerin 23s will have similar issues. I hope not. Another reviewer here said Brooks was switching to foam like Hoka. I hope that’s not true.

Great For A Trail Run!

I ran a half marathon in these on a trail with gravel. The tread on the sneaker helped me a great deal on the road. The elastic at the front of the shoe kept the laces from getting undone. Overall the shoe is comfortable and provides good stability for trail running.

Overall a good shoe. I don’t feel like they are cushioned as much as a pair of Calderas that I have.

LOVE LOVE these shoes on the trails! Zero complaints! I ordered a 1/2 size up to minimize discomfort when my feet swell.

Ideal For Hiking

After reading about trail runners vs. hiking boots, I decided to get these for a trip to Zion. I was able to wear them with no break-in period, and the grip was helpful for navigating trails confidently. I usually wear Ghosts because I have high arches, and these provided enough cushion and support to be comfortable hiking for days.

Great For Hiking & Trail Runs

Works great for me for trail runs and hikes - even a quick slip into a stream didn't get my entire foot soaked! I added my usual insole for additional arch support, but otherwise a big fan.

Only Shoes I’ll Wear!

They fit me well, just ran and walked a half marathon yesterday and they kept my feet from hurting too much.

Super Comfy Trail Shoe

Very comfortable excellent tail shoe. Love the outside mesh is so easy to clean and lots of cushion. Highly recommend!!

They are not comfortable. They make me walk in a different way than am used too.

The shoes were super uncomfortable. I ended up having to tape my feet just to finish the race, felt like there was zero cushion.

Loving my Cascadia 19s! Put over 100 miles on the trail these past 2 weeks and they are going strong. Breaking in took some time, but after that they've been super comfortable. They provide the right support and tread I need for the trails.

I really like these shoes!! They fit just right. I wear a 7.5 and they fit perfectly. I wear them everywhere. My knees and back do not hurt when I wear them not like they did before I did.

Disappointed

Last year I bought Cascadia 18 and they were my favorite shoes. I wore them all the time and could walk on them for miles and not feel any pain in my feet, hips, or back. I couldn’t wait to buy them again this year. This years shoes have caused me pain and don’t feel the same as last years. Really disappointed
