Good quality material that will protect your leg from scratches. The construction of the pant stretches well while climbing and provides ample movement. A little bit tight on the waist area. Pockets are also good.

Comfy and fit great. Looking forward to wearing them on my next climbing adventure

I hate jeans and I needed something to work, it worked for me.

Just bough these. The fit was perfect. Fabric feels great on my legs. Nothing cramps up. Lightweight and durable

I recently bought the Mantle Pants in a size 32 (that is what my waist measures) and have some impressions. There is plenty of room in the waist (nice!) as well as the thighs, and the lower legs taper, however, the seat is pretty snug. In fact, it is difficult to high step in these and do squats. Despite what numerous reviews have said, the “touch of stretch” is minimal. My blue jeans have more flex and room to high step. I wanted these pants for rock climbing, but the snug-butt tailoring and stiff fabric are real drawbacks. Maybe after a few washings they will break in. On the plus side, the material seems quite sturdy and they look nice. They will be perfect for spectating at the odd football match or standing at the bar.

Great pants for work or play. Active fit allows for great mobility and comfort.

Great fabric weight which is a little on the heavy side and durable. Waist is a little looser than I expected but not so big to be a problem. Comfortable for hiking so far. Happy overall with these.

I bought a size 32 in the Mantle Pants. That's my waist size. These pants have plenty of room in the waist (nice) and thighs, however, there's not much room in the seat unless all you're doing is standing around. Contrary to what other reviewers wrote, I found the "touch of stretch" to be minimal. My blue jeans have more flex and more room to high step. On the plus side, the material feels sturdy. I wanted to use these for climbing but they will work better watching the odd football match or standing at the bar.

Comfortable nice fitting pants, good balance of fit ease to move around in, they are really comfortable. I really like the zipper pocket on the thigh it's perfect for a low profile wallet. I highly recommend this pant.

Would recommend a regular vs short option, I like the material, it could stretch a bit more. I also endorse the straight front pocket vs slanted.

My boyfriend loves this brand but wouldn’t buy the pants for himself. It was the perfect gift to give this holiday season.

These pants are absolutely fantastic. Probably will get a second pair. The fit is perfect, and the comfort and flexibility is great for cotton based pant.

Build quality is on par with what I've come to expect from BD. Good pants that are comfortable and flexible. Have taken them bouldering/climbing and they have held up to initial abuse. If you are tall like I am they may run a bit short on the length but it is what it is.

Sizing is very uncertain. 36 waist was way too big - 34 too small Guess the goodwill will get them. Hugh hassle to return
