Thin, But Seems To Work.

I purchased this because it works with the Copper Spur tent, but I was hoping it was a little thicker than it ended up being. It's fine and does fit perfectly under the tent, but after years of thick bottomed (and heavy) Coleman tents, I'm still getting used to a higher quality backpacking tent. I've used it twice now, once backpacking and once car camping and so far so good.

Amazing Footprint

Does exactly what it's marketed for. The footprint kept my tent dry for multiple weeks and never got wet once on the ground. It's extremely light but really high quality, and it hasn't ripped at all. It's also easy to clean and packs down into a really small area. The only issue is the clips could be improved, they don't snap as well as I'd like — but that's really it.

You Don’t Need It Until You Do.

I’ve been a Big Agnes user for years. I do many extended backpack hunting t trips every year, and also spent countless hours in the front country with their products as well. Ultralight products are meant to be light, not indestructible. That said, this footprint adds a minimal amount of weight for vastly improved durability on the part of the tent that usually gets wrecked first: the floor. Add it to your kit. It’s worth it.

Protect Your Gear

This footprint is perfect for backcountry pitches. I use my Copper Spur in areas that can be very sharp with rocks and this lightweight compact footprint protects my investment. Packs down well, and is light. No complaints.

This is not the best footprint I have ever used, it is hard to keep attached to the bottom of the tend when setting up but with how thin the tent fabric is I would not dare go without it. With the footprint no water is getting in through the base of the tent which is really nice. I rarely even have to set the tent out after use with how well the rain fly breathes and when using the footprint. You can easily fit the footprint in the tent bag as well. I think if big Agnes were to redesign this I would appreciate some floor coverage under the vestibules but I get why it is not there because not everyone uses the rain fly as much as I do.

Not a super necessary item but convenient when you need it.

Order Model Doesn't Match Current Copper Spur Ul2 Tents.

Current Copper Spur UL2 tents have buckles to connect to the Footprint for Fast Pitching. This footprint does not have the matching buckles so that feature will not work.

Perfect

Super light, easy to pack, and does the job. I was recently on gravel with it and it didn't even scratch the footprint.

Perfect Fit

I always thought you would smell yourself before others would. But lately, I've been thinking I was wrong about that. Anyway, the Copper Spur footprint is the perfect footprint for under your tent. Especially if you have the Copper Spur tent.

Durable, A Bit Pricey

I'd highly recommend a footprint to help protect the floor of your tent. It's always tough to “clear“ all the sharp rocks or other objects from beneath a tent so it's nice to have some protection with a footprint.

Footprint Is Great

Pretty good footprint. A little pricy for what it is but the ability to quickfly is why I bought it. Colors match the proper holds and the footprint is overall good although a little thin. For what it's purpose is I would say it's a great matching product.

Footprint For Copper Spur

Exact size. Light weight. Fights nicely in small bag. Light weight. Recommended if you're getting a Copper Spur tent

Tough And Strong

Used it while on a roadtrip in the desert and it held up nicely in the rocks and dirt.
