1. The ScoreCard Program
The ScoreCard program (“Program”) is a U.S.-based loyalty program through which you may receive personalized offers, early access to products and offers, earn points that convert to rewards, and more. The Program is offered at the sole discretion of DICK’S Sporting Goods, Inc. (“DICK’S”).
The Program is generally referred to as the “ScoreCard” program at DICK’S Sporting Goods, DICK’S House of Sport, DICK’S Field House, Golf Galaxy, Going Going Gone!, and Public Lands retail stores, ecommerce sites, mobile applications, and telephonic sales, and as the “Public Lands HUB” program at Public Lands retail stores and ecommerce sites (all such retail stores, ecommerce sites, mobile applications, and telephonic sales are referred to as “our Stores”). References to ScoreCard within these ScoreCard Terms and Conditions include the Public Lands HUB.
At our sole discretion, we have the right to modify, add or delete all or any portion of the Program rules, terms, conditions, benefits, or rewards at any time, even though such changes may affect the value of points already accumulated, the value of the rewards and/or the time for redemption; provided that notice will be required where required by law .
2. Eligibility
The Program is open to individuals who reside in the United States (including United States territories) who: (A) are at least thirteen (13) years of age at the time of enrollment; (B) have a valid email address and mobile phone number; and (C) intend to use the Program for their own personal purposes and not to resell products or other commercial purposes (“Participants”). If you are under 18, you agree that you obtained permission from your parent or guardian to enroll in the Program. Any use for non-personal purposes, including but not limited to purchases for resale purposes, is grounds for termination of an account. Program enrollment and benefits are nontransferable, unless expressly stated otherwise, and are forfeited upon a member's death.
You authorize DICK’S to share your contact information, ScoreCard number and other qualifying information with our DICK’S Credit Card partner, Synchrony Bank, so they can determine your eligibility for a prescreened offer for a DICK’S Credit Card or DICK’S Mastercard®, or to process your application for a DICK’S Credit Card or DICK’S Mastercard®.
3. How to Enroll
It is free to enroll in the Program, though a purchase or fee may be required to achieve certain Program benefits or status. Eligible Participants may enroll in the Program in our Stores, either in person in our retail stores, online at dicks.com/scorecard, golfgalaxy.com/scorecard, or publiclands.com/HUB, or using the DICK’S or Golf Galaxy mobile applications by providing their name, mobile phone number, and email address as requested. You may be required to validate your mobile phone number or email address to complete the enrollment process. DICK’S reserves the right cancel any ScoreCard account that contains incomplete, inaccurate, false, or fictious information. You will be assigned a ScoreCard number upon successful enrollment.
4. Program Status
Participants are eligible to receive benefits and rewards based on their Program status. The Program consists of the following status tiers and corresponding benefits and rewards:
All Participants receive base ScoreCard status once enrolled into the Program.
Participants qualify for ScoreCard Gold status by either: (a) using their DICK’S Credit Card or DICK’S Mastercard® to make a purchase in our Stores at least once during the calendar year; or (b) making five hundred dollars ($500) in Qualified Purchases (as defined below) during the calendar year.
It may take up to fourteen (14) days after qualifying for an elevated status for a Participant’s account to be updated. Once an elevated status is earned, the qualifying Participant will retain that status for the remainder of that calendar year and throughout the following calendar year (“Year 2”). Such a Participant then must requalify for the elevated status during Year 2 to retain that status into the following year.
5. Earning Points
Participants may earn ScoreCard Points (“Points”) that can be applied towards a reward (“Reward”) by (A) making a Qualified Purchase, (B) participating in Qualified Fitness Activities (defined below), (C) making purchases with their DICK’S Credit Card or DICK’S Mastercard®, and (D) taking other actions as may be advertised by DICK’S from time to time.
If a Participant returns purchases for which the Participant earned Points, those Points will be deducted from the Participant’s ScoreCard account balance, which may result in a negative Points balance. If Points earned from purchase of a returned item already have been converted into a Reward, the Reward is subject to cancellation, and if such a Reward already has been spent, then the refund for the return of the item will be reduced by the value of the already-spent Reward (see Section 7 for details). Participants must present/identify with their ScoreCard account when returning any purchases that earned Points.
5.1 Qualified Purchases
Participants will earn at least one Point for every one dollar ($1) of Qualified Purchases (the one (1) Point earned is a “Base Point”). Actual Points earned will depend on the Participant’s status (see chart above) at the time of purchase. Transactions completed under a ScoreCard account may not be transferred to another ScoreCard account.
“Qualified Purchases” are merchandise purchases at our Stores, excluding purchases of PING products and purchases made through A.D. Starr or GameChanger. Qualified Purchases also exclude sales tax and shipping, voluntary fees to join elevated tiers of ScoreCard membership, Reward redemption, purchases made prior to enrollment, purchase of gift cards, extended warranties, gift wrap, and in store and online services.
You must identify yourself as a ScoreCard member each time you make a purchase in person or over the phone, or sign into your ScoreCard account prior to purchase online or using the mobile application to earn Points. If there are any discrepancies or if you do not use your ScoreCard number at the time of purchase, you may add Qualifying Purchases to your account within 90 days after the original transaction by logging into your account and adding your transaction to your account using the “Credit My Account” function. It may take up to seven (7) weeks for Points from Qualified Purchases to appear in your account.
5.2 Qualified Fitness Activities
Participants may also earn Points through the MOVE fitness tracker function on the DICK'S Mobile Application after connecting an eligible fitness tracker to their account. Please see the Mobile App FAQ, which is located at dicks.com/s/mobile-app-faqs for details regarding how to earn Points using the DICK’S Mobile Application. Participants may earn a daily maximum of three (3) Points daily via the DICK’S Mobile Application. To receive Points, Participants must reach the daily goal in one (1) calendar day based upon the Participant’s time zone (“Qualified Fitness Activity”). Participant’s activity will reset back to zero (0) at the beginning of each calendar day (measured by Eastern Time). DICK’S does not own or control the information regarding Participants’ fitness activity reported to the DICK’S Mobile Application. DICK’S does not assume any responsibility for and will not be liable for the accuracy of any such information regarding a Participant’s fitness activity. Participants must contact their third party fitness device manufacturer if they believe there are discrepancies regarding the fitness activity reported to DICK’S.
5.3 DICK’S Credit Card and DICK’S Mastercard®
ScoreCard account is required to apply. Participants paying with the DICK’S Credit Card and DICK’S Mastercard® will earn at least three (3) Points (consisting of one (1) Base Point plus two (2) additional Points for cardholders) for every one dollar ($1.00) spent on Qualified Purchases and one (1) Point for every three dollars ($3.00) spent everywhere else Mastercard is accepted. The DICK’S Credit Card and DICK’S Mastercard® are subject to credit approval and the Credit Card Terms issued by the credit card provider Synchrony Bank, which can be found here. DICK’S does not own or control the information relative to charges made on the DICK’S Credit Card or DICK’S Mastercard®. DICK’S does not assume any responsibility for and will not be liable for the accuracy of any such information regarding a Participant’s use of the DICK’S Credit Card or DICK’S Mastercard®. Participants must contact the Synchrony Bank Customer Service at 1-877-417-1324 with questions or concerns regarding the DICK’S Credit Card or DICK’S Mastercard®.
Point multiplier offers do not apply to Points earned with the DICK’S Credit Card and DICK’S Mastercard®. Instead, Cardholders will earn elevated Points as disclosed in the applicable Points multiplier offer. For example, Participants that redeem a ScoreCard Gold 3x Points offer benefit on a purchase made with their DICK’S Credit Card or DICK’S Mastercard® will earn five (5) Points per one dollar ($1.00) of Qualifying Purchases.
Participants paying with the DICK’S Credit Card and DICK’S Mastercard® will earn one (1) Points for every one dollar ($1.00) spent on Qualified Purchases when taking advantage of special finance offers.
For additional information about the DICK’S Credit Card and DICK’S Mastercard®, see the DICK’S Credit Card FAQs located at DICKS.com/Credit.
6. Earning Rewards
All Points not converted to a Reward will expire one year after the date upon which the Points were earned.
Participants will automatically receive a ten dollar ($10) Reward for every three hundred Points accumulated after reaching a balance of three hundred (300) Points ("Minimum Point Threshold"). For example, a participant with a zero starting Point balance will receive a twenty dollar ($20) Reward and retain a balance of one hundred (100) Points after making a Qualified Purchase that earns the participant seven hundred (700) Points. DICK’S may allow Participants, from time to time, to redeem Points for Rewards at a lower Minimum Point Threshold, but the conversion rate of three hundred (300) Points to a ten-dollar ($10) Reward will remain constant.
Rewards are capped at Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) per calendar month (“Maximum Reward”). Participants who have a Points balance after earning the Maximum Reward will carry over the remaining Points to the following month until the Points convert to a Reward or expire, whichever happens first.
7. Redeeming Rewards
Rewards can only be redeemed by Participants on the purchase of merchandise at Our Stores. Rewards must be redeemed prior to the Reward expiration date, which is no less than sixty (60) days after the Reward is issued. Redeem Rewards by presenting the Reward at the time of checkout in-store or by signing into your ScoreCard account and applying the Reward to your purchase online or in the mobile application. Participants may redeem up to three (3) Rewards per transaction. A Reward can only be redeemed in one transaction, and the Participant forfeits any unused portion of the Reward if the transaction is less than the amount of the Reward.
Rewards cannot be redeemed for the purchase of gift cards, licenses, gift wrap, and extended warranties, for store credit, to pay for sales tax and shipping and handling, for prior purchases, for voluntary fees to join elevated tiers of ScoreCard membership, and for purchases made through A.D. Starr or GameChanger. Rewards have no cash value and neither cash nor store credit will be paid for unused portions of the Reward. Rewards are not transferable and Participants can only redeem Rewards associated with that Participant’s ScoreCard account. Participants must redeem Rewards prior to or on the expiration date stated on the Reward.
If a Participant uses a Reward to purchase an item that is later returned, then, when returning the item, the Participant will receive: (A) a refund for the value of the returned item less the portion of the Reward allocated to the returned item; and (B) Points equal to the portion of the Reward allocated to the returned item. Rewards are allocated to all qualifying items in a transaction in proportion to each qualifying item’s value compared to the total value of all qualifying items in the transaction.
8. Special Offers
From time to time, we may extend ScoreCard enrollment offers to our customers to promote new Program membership for non-Participants. Such enrollment offers are limited to new Participants. Existing Participants may not receive enrollment offers for enrolling additional ScoreCard accounts.
Additionally, we reserve the right to extend special offers and provide additional limited time ScoreCard benefits to some Participants based upon geographic location, availability, Program tier status, Program participation, or information supplied by the Participant. Some of our special promotional offers, benefits, and communications also may be based on the volume or type of purchases of Participants.
9. Connecting Third Party Membership Accounts
DICK’S may provide Participants with opportunities to earn additional offers and benefits by connecting their ScoreCard account with third party-operated membership accounts (“Third Party Accounts”). By connecting your ScoreCard to such Third Party Accounts, you authorize us to share information about you and your purchases, transactions and ScoreCard account activity with the third party operating the Third Party Account. You can un-link your accounts at any time. We are not responsible for your Third Party Accounts or your information provided (including through us) to such third parties, which is subject to such third parties’ own posted terms, conditions and privacy policies. For more information about connecting your ScoreCard account with Third Party Accounts, please see the FAQs located at https://www.dickssportinggoods.com/s/connected.
10. Change of Account Information and Closing Your Account
Participants are responsible for notifying us of any changes to their information, including phone number and e-mail address. We are not responsible for Rewards that are lost, delayed or misdirected. You may change your account information or close your account by making changes to your account preferences at dicks.com/myaccount/accountsummary or by contacting the ScoreCard Hotline at 1-800-440-4002.
11. Account Termination
DICK’S may terminate a Participant’s membership and account and disqualify that Participant from future Program participation if, in DICK’S’ sole discretion, the Participant violates these Terms and Conditions (for example, by sharing the account another individual, holding several accounts, or using the account for non-personal purposes), abuses the Program, or otherwise engages in activity that is deemed disruptive or inappropriate in DICK’S absolute discretion.
DICK'S reserves the right to close inactive accounts. An account is inactive if the Participant has not earned Points through a Qualified Purchase or redeemed Rewards for a period of 12 consecutive months.
If an account is closed or terminated for any reason, then all Points and Rewards associated with the account will be forfeited.
12. Program Termination
The Program has no predetermined termination date and may continue until such time as we elect to designate a termination date. We reserve the right to modify or end the Program, or any part of the Program, at any time.
13. General Terms
DICK’S has the sole right interpret and apply these Terms and Conditions and such interpretations and applications are binding on Participants. If DICK’S improperly denies a benefit to you, then DICK’S’ liability will not exceed the equivalent value, as determined by DICK’S, of that benefit. For additional information about the Program, see the ScoreCard FAQs located at dicks.com/s/scorecard-faqs.
All disputes, claims, questions, or disagreements related to the Program will be resolved in accordance with these Program Terms and DICK’S’ Terms of Use. You agree to notify DICK’S of any dispute, claim, question, or disagreement related to the Program by submitting your complaint via email to LegalDepartment@dcsg.com in accordance with Section 21 (“Dispute Resolution”) of DICK’S’ Terms of Use. You agree to allow DICK’S a period of sixty (60) days following your submission of your complaint to DICK’S to provide a substantive response and to try to resolve the dispute prior to filing any lawsuit or arbitration related to your complaint. COMPLIANCE WITH THIS NOTIFICATION PROCEDURES SHALL BE A CONDITION PRECEDENT TO YOUR RIGHT TO INITIATE ANY LAWSUIT OR ARBITRATION AGAINST DICK’S RELATED TO THE PROGRAM. YOU AGREE THAT YOUR FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE NOTIFICATION PROCEDURES PRIOR TO FILING A LAWSUIT OR ARBITRATION AGAINST DICK’S SHALL ENTITLE DICK’S TO RECOVER REASONABLE ATTORNEYS’ FEES INCURRED IN DEFENDING THE LAWSUIT OR ARBITRATION.
Points and Rewards may be subject to federal, state, or other taxes, and such taxes are the sole responsibility of the respective Participant.
The Program is a United States program. To the extent allowed by applicable law, the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania apply to the Program and these Terms and Conditions without regard to any conflict of law rules that may require the application of the laws of another jurisdiction.
If in any particular jurisdiction the Program requires any special license, bonding, permit or other governmental regulatory approval, the Program will be void in that particular jurisdiction.
Participation in the Program is void if prohibited by law in the jurisdiction in which the prospective Participant resides.

If your ScoreCard was not used in-store and you have your receipt, you can credit the purchase to your account within 90 days. Points are converted into Rewards at a rate of 300 Points = $10. You will automatically be issued a Reward when your Points balance reaches 300 Points. Rewards are issued in increments beginning at $10. Occasionally, we may offer you the option to redeem Rewards in other increments.
Yes. Rewards are capped at $500 per calendar month.
Rewards are valid for 60 days from the date they are issued.
Rewards will be received within 60 days of qualifying for a Reward. You can view and redeem available Rewards in your account online or on the DICK’S or Golf Galaxy Mobile Apps. Available Rewards can also be redeemed in store when you identify as a loyalty member at checkout. You will be notified that a Rewards is available via email.
No. Rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash.
Returns will be reduced by the portion of the Reward applied to the returned item. When a Reward is used on a transaction with several items, the Reward is applied to each item proportionate to the item’s value compared to the total transaction value.
Rewards are not available immediately due to the timing of processing and time associated with processing. You can see when your Points convert into a Reward by logging in and visiting the My Points section under My Account.
Yes, the Points you earned from purchasing the returned item are deducted from your account when you complete a return. You must present your ScoreCard at the time of the return.
If you return an item you purchased with a Reward, then your ScoreCard account will be credited Points proportionate to the Reward used on that item. For example, if $5 of a $10 Reward is used on an item that you return, then your account will be credited 150 Points.
You will receive the credited Points the day after your cancelled order or returned order processes in our systems.
If your balance of points equates to a new Reward, the Points will convert to a Reward during the next Reward cycle.
All Points expire approximately 365 days from the date in which they are issued or reissued, if they have not converted into a Reward.
When you use a Reward, it is applied proportionately to all of the products in your order based on each product’s value compared to your total order value. Therefore, if you return or cancel a portion of your order, you will receive a pro-rated Point value. For example:
If your order was one product, the total amount of Points that equals the value of your Reward issued for that purchase will be credited in Points.
If you had two products in the order and one is cancelled or returned, the pro-rated value of your Reward that was applied to that product will be credited in Points.
You can achieve ScoreCard Gold status by either (A) using their DICK’S Credit Card or DICK’S Mastercard® to make a purchase in our Stores at least once during the calendar year or (B) making five hundred dollars ($500) in qualified purchases during the calendar year.
