I bought this as my everyday “mom” crossbody bag. Love the dusk color - something different from the standard neutral tones but still understated. It’s a tough bag and very spacious. The magnet opening is really convenient. I do wish there was an additional pocket inside though. Overall, very happy with this purchase!

I bought this as a gift but the bag can’t be used as a cross body configuration! The strap is to short it needs at a minimum another 16 in. To be a functional cross body ! Otherwise at maximum extension it is tight on the neck and the armpit not Ideal situation !

Great bag from a material and organizational standpoint. The magnetic clasp opening is strong, and feels secure. Had to return because the strap is way too short. Description on the website mentions the model being 6’3, I’m 6’3 with an athletic built and I felt extremely constricted by the belt. No options to extend or make bigger.

I’m pretty happy with the crossbody bag overall, but the strap is way too short. I think it should have been designed with a longer strap or offered with different strap-length options at checkout. If a strap extender were available, I would definitely purchase one! On a positive note, the magnetic closure is great! It’s convenient and works really well.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ **Went to Africa with me. Never left my side. Just give me a longer strap, YETI!** I wore this bag **every single day of my 2.5-week Africa safari adventure** — game drives, shopping, dinners, travel days…everywhere. It was literally attached to me, and I LOVED it. It’s the perfect size for keeping the essentials close without carrying a full bag, and the magnetic closure is fantastic — strong, secure, and exactly what I’d expect from YETI. My ONE complaint: **the strap!** I’m 5'9", and it’s just too short to wear comfortably as a crossbody. I made it work, but I shouldn’t have to negotiate with my bag every time I want to wear it that way. 😂 **YETI, please redesign the strap — or even better, offer different strap lengths!** Tall girls would like to wear it crossbody too! Would I buy it again? Absolutely. It survived 2.5 weeks of African dust, safari vehicles, airports, shopping trips and dinners and became one of my favorite pieces of travel gear. Just. Give. Me. A. Longer. Strap. 🙌

Stores my EDC gear perfectly. But…The strap is too short!! I would be first in line to purchase a newly designed bag with a strap that’s 7 to 10 inches longer. It’s comfortable to wear as a fanny pack but I got it for the crossbody aspect. It sits just under my armpit, rubs, and moves around. If it were longer it would be out of the way and stay put. As is I still take it with me everywhere. I will however keep my eyes open for the new and improved version with a longer strap. And I won’t complain if YETI decides it was their design flaw and sends me a new one free. FMjr
I bought this for an upcoming trip and I’m happy to say that it can hold my iPad mini without any issue. Love the color as well. Perfect addition to the Ranchero lineup.

4L is a good size for everyday running around. Wallet, keys, phone… it’s not too big at all and I have the 1L as well which is on the small side for daily use. The magnet is quite strong and I like it rather than a zipper. Some people said the strap was too short, it’s not for me but I’m thin and tall. I could see if you were a bigger person it would be too tight. I’m 5’8 and 140lb and I have it as long as it goes and it’s perfect for me (crossbody) but I do recommend. It’s a nice bag, good features inside. Pockets and a zipper pocket.

I love the bag… however the strap was too short… I ended up purchasing one of the yeti side kick straps and cut it down to fab up an extension… I am 5’10” and about 255 pounds… now I can comfortably wear the bag across my body

I have the Ranchero Crossbody Sling bag in the 1L in the colour Dusk and the 4L in Pampa Light Green and I love them both! using a magnet keep your cross bag instead of a zipper is so nice and convenient, it makes everything easy if you to get things out of the cross bag if your hands full! And the magnet is very strong and stays closed, nothing should fall out of cross bag. This is the only cross bag I use now for everyday use/ adventure time! Thanks yeti!

Very Sturdy, well made crossbody purse. I love the strong magnetic closure. I originally bought it in the 1L in the Red which is OK for “quick trips” or where I don’t need to have an “entire purse”. I really like the Olive 4L much better! I can use it for an “everyday purse” because it holds A LOT! The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the short strap that everyone keeps mentioning in other reviews. It is short! I did find a solution that works, however. I bought the olive colored click strap (it will snap together with the crossbody snap) and the color matches seamlessly. However, I wasn’t happy about paying the extra money after paying the higher price that Yeti is asking for the crossbody in the first place! They really should have factored in their design process that all sized and proportioned people use their products, not just skinny smaller people.
