Replacing Standard Screw Cap With Magnetic Cap

I have the jug many years w/the original cap. Love the jug. It is as good as it was on day one, except it is a pain to have to unscrew it to drink & the wide open mouth makes it sloppy. Finally bought the screw spout w/magnetic. It works great, nothing dribbles down my chin, but the screw cap still is inconvenient to use when driving.

Great For Cold, Not Great For Hot

Works great with cold beverages, but tried with coffee and not recommended. Sprayed when opening after it had rolled around in the floor of the car. To be fair, I'm pretty sure the website and YETI say this is not to be used with hot beverages.

Impossible To Break The Seal

In theory, this is a great cap because the straw was difficult to maneuver around the ice in my water bottle. I liked the magnet and ease of drinking from the bottle. However, it created such a tight seal that I could not get it off to refill my bottle. I had a number of people at work try, and finally, I had to drive across town to have my son-in-law open it. With effort, he was able to open it, but that isn't saying much, given that he can crack walnuts in his hands.
