The binoculars are fairly straightforward to use & comes with a nice instruction manual that explained the things I needed more info on. They also came with a nice carrying case and 2 types of straps. I can’t speak on using them at night as I haven’t done so yet. I am happy with this purchase.

I've had my 10x42 Diamondback HD's for a little over a year now. I have had no issues with the optics themselves and am very happy with them. Sure, Vortex has better options at a much higher price, but for a set of binoculars that are meant to be taken in the woods, thrown into a pack or the glove box of a truck or used in large crowds during sporting events this is the perfect price point. The warranty just ensures you'll always be able to have these on hand. The only downfall is the glass pak. It's awkward to use and can get in the way while bow hunting.

I just want to say how awesome it was to deal with Vortex Optics recently. I vent in my Diamondback 10x42 for a simple warranty repair. Did not ask for a replacement but only expected a repair on my well used set of binoculars. Vortex quickly determined that the repair was not possible or necessary and sent a brand new replacement set of 10x42 Diamondbacks instead no questions asked. They sent a full box replacement with all the included accessories just as if I’d purchased a brand new repair. Again no questions asked. I really appreciate this company and their dedication to customer relations.

Was looking for a budget set of binoculars and can say the diamondback hd checked off all of the boxes. I’ve used other high dollar binoculars in the past and can confidently say the clarity and quality of the vortex are above and beyond the competitors. Included with the binoculars is a vortex glass pack that is also super quiet and made from a durable material. I’ve recently started using vortex scopes on some of my rifles and will continue to do so here on out. Between the price, quality, clarity, and lifetime warranty you truly can’t go wrong!

I had a failure on these glasses and vortex took care of me asap! If all companies stood behind their products and took care of their customers like vortex does the world would be a much better place. I dont why anyone would buy anything but vortex because of their warranty alone. But their quality is also where it needs to be as well.

I am a big fan of Vortex and have these, the Viper HDs and the Razor HDs and while the Razors are by far my favorite I got these as a backup set to just leave in the truck in case I need to look at something and not worry about my super nice pairs getting lost or stolen. They are great for what I use them for, on the fly, within a couple houndred yards and in daylight you almost cant tell a difference in clarifty between higher end glass (there is a difference in edge clarity and FOV) low light it can get a little tough but not bad. If you are looking for a good starter bino and don't want to break the bank these are it! If you are looking for a backup pair of binos for the truck, range, sight seeing, these are it!

Appears to be built different than past block targets. Stops arrows sooner. Easier to remove my arrows. Also after 200 + arrows none of the material has fallen off. Have not shot it with a broad head because its not why i bought it

I won these at a rafle during a Deer Hunting Convention. Holy Crap. They are awesome. The best pair of binocs I have ever owned in all my hunting years (45). I will definitely be looking at other Vortex Optics in future. Only neg I have to say (and it has NOTHING to do with the Binocs themselves)- it would be nice if the binoc harness had snaps to match the Glasspak harness that comes with them so you could easily switch them out with just the snaps. BUT THATS IT! GREAT PRODUCT FOR PRICE (and in my case was price of a raffle ticket ;) ). But even so, they are well worth the MSRP!
