This may be one of the worst purchases I have ever made. When it works the food is good but.....The grill itself has caught fire 3-4 times. When I TRY to start it it takes 2-3 times of a start and shutdown cycle for pellets to light. The most recent issue...the one that finally pushed me to write my first ever review of anything.....the flame went out mid-cook. Another ruined dinner. How can such an expensive grill be such a bad product???

Game Changer! Been grilling for years the traditional way. This has allowed me to up my game without having to keep stoking the fire. I can focus on the prep and the cook. The meat comes out great everytime.

Like so many others, I'm extremely disappointed in the temperature monitoring of this grill. It is off by dozens of degrees every time I use it. I haven't been able to cook anything decent

Grill is great but the Traeger app is trash since they did the update and that was a few years ago it’s basically useless it’s one of the most frustrating things just give it a look in the App Store before you buy one of these grills check the reviews and try to search recipes or use the cook now feature I’ve been patiently waiting for Traeger to do something for a couple years but they don’t seem to care

We recently purchased this Traeger grill and it has exceeded our expectations! Our steaks turned out incredibly tasty and we cannot wait to use our Traeger again for our next meal. Cleanup is simple and it feels like it's built to last. Highly recommend for anyone who loves a great grilling/BBQ experience!

Wonderful entry level smoker! A great deal for the money and the perfect size for a family of two.

I have smoke 1 over night brisket and results were excellent, my only complaint is the inability to connect the wifire feature to phone. I do intend to contact tech support to address the issue.

I live on the Gulf and the salt ate my last Pro22. This wifi is Really Idiot proof. No more staying up all night drinking a 12 pack to monitor the temp and add wood to my stick smoker. Although that is the fun of a stick smoker. I love my Traeger though.

They push the "WiFire Technology". After trying time and time again to connect to my device using the phone app, I researched the issue to find that they did NOT put a WiFi antenna on the unit. So you're trying to connect to the router directly from the printed circuit board. My WiFi router is 20' or less from the device and it sill won't connect. The "WiFire Technology" is useless unless maybe you place your WiFi router on top of the Traeger grill! A joke.

First pellet grill with WiFi and it works great, what a cheat code. Got rid of my Recteq due to continued temperature spikes that would ruin long smokes. Traeger holds temp great thus far and although it was annoying at first, I like the fact that it forced me to clean the fire box before starting up to prevent flame ups. There may be a way around that but I'll just grab the shop vac and keep it clean. Surface area is smaller than I'm used to but I knew that beforehand, overall very satisfied with the purchase.

This is the second Traeger BBQ unit, very reliable
Pro 575 maintains heat well. I haven't seen a big difference between my meater thermometer and the on board sensor. Others have reported a large discrepancy but I didn't experience that. It disappointing that this model doesn't have a super smoke mode. Even keeping temp below 225F doesn't provide the same flavor as the super smoke mode. I've had to put a separate smoke canister inside. It's a pain but necessary to get flavor. The hook the grease pail hangs on is poorly designed. If you use a cover, the pail falls when you remove the cover. I needed to design a latch that retains the pail. It could been designed a lot better without adding cost. Hopper clean out is difficult as the door is behind the grill and the pellets do not free flow out of the hopper. A stick needs to be poked through the anger protection screen. I'm sure that many people have just removed the screen. The controller is easy to operate and the Mobil app screen is laid out well. Cleaning the ash put requires all the heat shields and grates to be removed. Chamber cannot be removed and dumped, it has to be vacuumed. Other competing grill have buckets that can be removed. All in all, heat stability is good, controller is good but the pellet unloading process and ash pit cleaning ergonomics could be a lot better. It a middle of the rode product at best.
