The Design Needs Work

It really needs some kind of reinforcement of the lid. It's not easy to open and close the box because there is nothing to stiffen the material. The overall design needs work. Either stiffeners attached to the inside of the box or retool the mold to add features that will not allow the lid to flop around when opening and closing.

Looks Great And Works Perfect.

This cargo box has performed above my expectations. It's lightweight enough to be easy to take on and off of my vehicle, but very strong and sturdy construction. In my application, I noticed no additional wind noise or vibration with the box on. I think that is due to the superior aerodynamics. It looks amazing on the vehicle, as well.

Great Cargo Box

This cargo box came out of the box ready to install. It was an easy installation on my wife’s Santa Fe. Drove from Las Vegas Nevada to Glendo Wyoming, fully loaded, 80 MPH and no problems. It was also an easy take off to put in the garage while not in use! I would recommend. Also the additional Thule duffel bags came in great use also.

Elegance Well Worth It.

Simply so easy to install onto your roof crossbars. The install is genius and well worth the price, especially if you intend to remove it often.

Great Size Options

Great roof pod but I miss my old one that had rubber seals to push the clamps through. Much easier to use and dryer

Awesome!

Honestly, only used it once but I’m really happy with it. Have a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness. Took some tinkering to make it so I could fully open the hatch without contact, but we figured it out. Under 7’ so works perfectly for underground parking and ferry limits. Excited to continue to use! Will make car camping with all of our gear much more approachable. Easy to install, kind of wish the instructions had words but I also did it with one hand splinted due to surgery so it’s not rocket science.

Easyb Install

Took delivery of my THULE Motion 3 XL atthe end of July. 2026. The carrier was easy to install and took less tha 15 minuted to square it up and have it secured. The gloss Black finished matched by VW Altlas finish perfectly and modern design was an added bonus.

Great Look, Very Quiet

We took our dog to Lassen Volcanic National Park and needed extra space. Problem solved beautifully. Perfect fit on car, many positive comments from passersby. Only suggestion is locks should stay unlocked by indent making it easier to open with one hand.

Worth Every Penny

Great Product!

Amazingly engineered. Loving the dual access and how aerodynamic it is. Went on a long a road trip and could barely hear the box up top. The pre torque quick clamps were awesome too. Wasnt torqued too tight or too loose. Very convenient and easy to use and gives me peace of mind.

Life Changing Travel Options!

I thought I had a big enough vehicle (Toyota Highlander) for my 3 person family but we've all taken up the sport of rowing so now our gear, cooler, extra clothes etc. have really filled up all of the open space. We used our Thule for the first time this past weekend to go out of town for a rowing regatta. Most of our gear fit in the car but it allowed us to bring 2 inflatable kayaks and an inflatable paddleboard so we could have even more time on the water! So awesome! Rowed on Saturday, paddled Lake Superior on Sunday - loving our options with our new Thule! Even put our first sticker on it and can't wait to cover it with stickers from all of our travels! I was nervous we would hear a lot of wind noise but didn't hear it at all.
