Best Pad

I have used multiple of these over the years. They are arguably the singular top pick for durability, and a very good pick for warmth and comfortability. Not heavy, and basically this is the single best bang for buck piece of camping gear you will ever buy in your life. If you can manage to damage one, you will be buying another.

Good For Army.

For when you need something bomb proof that has no possibility of letting you down. Serves its purpose perfectly. Not the most advanced or comfortable pad out there but if you want to travel hard and fast and not worry about holes or deflation , give this a try.

Indispensable !!!

I have 2 Ridgerest pads. I use one as extra comfort on top of my yoga mat. Purchased 10 yrs ago Can't live without it!!!!! Use it daily. Pure pleasure. I use the 2nd one, purchased 2 yrs. ago, for comfort, lying on the stone deck of an outdoor pool in the summer. I do not allow it to get wet. I also use one as cushioning to do ankle/leg balance exercises for rehab after a broken ankle. One constructive criticism, the first mat, bought 10 years ago, is shorter than the newer mat. I much prefer the shorter one. Fabulous investment. Joy in my life.

This Is My Second Pad,

This is my second pad, my first is still in the mix after many thousand miles ,but more importantly countless short day hikes which turned into overnighters. I own at least three or four of the latest and greatest mattress pads but as I pack for for my next trek I always grab my pad. I know what to expect and have confidence that I will get a good nights sleep. Since I have been hiking I never used anything but my pad, not counting the old insulate pad from days gone bye.

Owned One Before And Liked

Owned one before and liked it but have evolved to a big agnes q core deluxe pad however im doing a 242 mile river trip in october and wanted a back up pad should the q core pad experience issues. I have repair kits, but having the ridgerest pad there in addition gives me of mind that no matter what, im protected from the hard cold ground.
