Originally purchased the Diamond Peak Insulated Vest in ivory, and then had to have the same vest in black. This vest fits all my requirements for form (high cool quotient) and function (well made). We spend a lot of time on the Oregon coast, and this is the perfect solution for walks on the beach or hikes in the mountains. The longer length and insulated quilting keep you warm and dry without adding bulk. The North Face quality shows, and no doubt these vests will be a go to in my wardrobe for years to come.

Missing A Hood
Overall I liked it ..it’s on the boxy side..so don’t expect it to be flattering . You can size down depends on your taste . I wear mines with a hoodie ..I love the length just really wish it had a hood .. maybe even an inside pocket ..

Strange Cut, Lightweight, Runs Large
Not the warmth I was hoping for. I'd say an early fall or late spring kind of weight. It runs large, which would be useful for lots of layering but if you're between sizes, don't size up. The layering will be fine. The really big shoulders and v cut were not flattering on me.
