Big Upgrade
I bought this jacket some time ago and it’s much warmer than my previous one. Navigating in sub-zero temperatures have never been warmer!

North Face Parka
I bought this for my husband for Christmas and he loves it! It’s warm down to very cold temps. The fur trim is removable, but so far he has kept it in and it is helpful on windy days. The coat is generously sized, the only thing it could use would be an adjustable elastic cord at the bottom to keep cold air from coming up

Nice Jacket
Fits good and warm its light weight. Would be better if it had a waist adjustment tension cord and for the hood

Very Cozy Parka. Runs Pretty Large
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very cozy parka. Runs pretty large. Even when layering underneath, I still feel it's a bit too relaxed of a fit for my taste but sizing down completely alleviated this. Hood feels amazing and the way the removable fur bends forward and back is quite nice to block the wind. Also a big fan of the fleece-lined chest pockets for warming your hands if you're gloveless.

Love It
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in Minnesota so I need a warm coat. We haven't yet hit the negative numbers for me to provide a full review but we have hit the 30s. Not only have I received a number of compliments on the look but the warmth it provides and ability to block wind feel substantial. I'm 6 feet tall and weigh 145 lbs. I needed a coat that would fit my slender body especially with sleeve length. I purchased a medium after first trying it at a store. The medium is perfect. It runs a little big which provides for layering but also allows for enough sleeve length where my arms are well protected.

Wasted Opportunity
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got mine last winter as it was getting nasty! And I been wanting this coat for a while… then I come to find that it’s useless because it has no draw string at the water at all and cold wind just blows right up into it the cuffs are bad too and the hood is even worse, the coat is insulated so good though! If they just added draw strings to waste and made the hood close better then this coat would be a 6 star out of 5!

Great Jacket Very Warm
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this jacket. This jacket has been very warm for the cold days in Northern Illinois. The upper chest hand warmer pockets are placed perfectly and are very comfortable when I use them. The length is also very comfortable. The left inside pocket is a good size but it would be nice to have another inside pocket on the right side. So far the jacket has been very durable. I I'm 6ft 220 and the large fits perfectly. I would definitely buy it again.

Big But Warm
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely big puffy but very warm. I’d recommend it. Very comfortable. It runs bigger so I got a medium instead of a large. Looks very nice

Very Nice Jacket
The coat is a ruggedly-built little brother to the ultra-rugged McMurdo Expedition Parka, and has some very nice features (almost identical to the Expedition Parka), especially the waterproof fabric on the outer layer. The coat looks indestructible but works smoothly, including the hood fitting snugly around your face, rimmed by the fake fur (easily zipped off), and the main zipper working very easily. Recommended if you want a coat that will keep you warm and dry in most weather. SIZE DOWN when you buy. 40” chest, 40” hips, 36” waist, 6’3”, 180 pounds, and MEDIUM is a perfect fit, including the sleeves. Some cons I noticed on a walk today in 40 degrees: small pockets, the down feels a bit thin in the sleeves and hood, and the shoulders don’t have a lot of articulation. Also, as with the Expedition Parka, I wouldn’t wear the coat hiking, it’s too bulky and stiff. It’s a great walking/casual coat with a unique, appealing look

Solid Warm Jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed something warmer that my old jacket. This fit the bill. Tough material but not to stiff - just right. Totally waterproof (so far). Medium length - if you want a super long parka, there are 2 other ones by North Face that may be similar but longer. I found the hood fur itchy, and it came off easily. 6'1 and 190 and Large was perfect. Still room to layer if needed. Worn mostly just to walk the dog, and typically add extra layers only needed if under 10 F.

Warmest Jacket I Have Owned; And I’ve Owned A Few.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Climate change? … of course not … but it is getting cold this Colorado winter …. We’re talking -4 with wind chill …. My big, heavy DTC coat wasn’t doing the job …. layer they said …. so I did ….
My base …. shirt …. puffy mid ….. and this as my outer keeps me warm and toasty as I walk the long trek to the office ….
It is not “big and heavy” …. It fits well and not boxy …. The lower cargo and hand pockets are placed perfectly…..
The zippers work and they work well, as is not the case with other high end coats ….. the fur trim is a bit much for a guy, but luckily it snaps off ….. the hood fits close to the head, which I like …..
5’8” at 200lbs …. With a bit of a beer belly…. And a Large fits great …. big enough to get the base, shirt, puffy underneath…. And not so big that it hangs off of you if worn by itself….. if I lost this, I would buy it again in a heart beat …
Great shopping experience with MooseJaw…. I like having ‘speedy’ shipping options……
