I have been wearing these pants for two days straight since receiving them. I've mostly worn them sitting in my chair at work, but I did go for a bike ride. I love the buttons on the pant legs. I've basically worn them with the ankles rolled up from the second I put them on and I love it. They keep the pants rolled up and keep them high enough to keep the pant leg off the crank when riding a bike. These pants look great in the office or anywhere. I love the fit and the look. My only complaint, which is why I gave it 4-stars instead of 5 is that there is no inherent stretch in these pants. I have a bulbous butt which causes the pants to feel slightly tight in the pelvis area. I assume the pants will stretch out a little as I wear them more, but at the moment, the pants are little tight. Otherwise, the fit is true to size. I typically wear a 38 waist and a 32 in length and these pants are perfect. I typically wear my pants with the cuff resting on the top of my foot and these land exactly on the top of my foot. I love these pants. I will definitely buy more in the future.

Need at least a small level of stretch to make it practical for hiking or climbing. Good for around town but that’s not why I buy mountain hardware

Great pair of pants. Very durable and dirt is easy to get off. They don’t stay looking dirty. Gonna get another pair

These are my favorite, the BEST 👍🏻 pants ever! They BREATH so they are very comfortable in summer and for walking. Also, ASTONISHINGLY lightweight while how they fit and feel is like genes, accept more flexible, extremely lightweight, and my dog can’t scratch them up no matter how much she tries 🐕 !

The sizing is significantly different than the AP Active pant. I tried an AP active paint on locally and 30 x 32 was too tight and too short. I ordered this AP pant in 31 x 34 and the waist was at least 2 inches too big. Either the sizing varies significantly between their pants of different materials or there is inconsistency in production. Returning and not planning to re-order since they do not offer a 29" waist and a 30 will likely be too large based on how big the 31 is. I typically wear 30 x 34 of most athletic brands.

I'm so glad I didn't order these online, I opted to try on my normal size at a local retailer and they were crazy tight, like early 2000s skinny jeans. I then tried on 2 sizes up from my regular waist size and they fit nicely with a belt. If you work out and have thighs and glutes that are semi-built order a size or two up in the waist for mobility. As far as quality goes, I like the thickness and rigidity of the material, definitely a nice resistant fabric.

Well, for starters I'm 5'9, 208 34/30 and have relatively muscular legs. These run tight through the thigh to the knee and are surprisingly lower rising. They sit below the hips in a way that is somewhat reminiscent of when I was in high school and wore hollister jeans. It feels silly. The upper leg/seat is also pretty tight in the sense that your package is going to feel like you're wearing low rise skinny jeans. The fabric is tough and seems pretty durable for hiking. The snaps are kinda silly if you get the right inseam size. I can't imagine needing to roll up that high. Double knee is a nice touch. The pocket in the right leg is. . .useless. What am I going to put at a pivot point that is going to stay in place and not irritate my knee while wearing it. Why? Really not sure who this is meant for other than urbanites who are going to their tech job and have no real intent on hiking, squatting or scrambling.

AP Pants - Really great quality, fabric and cut but mine ran long. I am 6-1, 195 with 35” waist and the 36/34 size was way too long. I’ll exchange them; they’re worth the money and seem very functional, very well made.

I have really enjoyed these pants! They feel great and are very durable. I have not been easy on them so far and they still look new! They are very breathable which is a must for me. They can also be worn casually or for business, which is another big deal to me. Would give these a full five stars, but I’ve only had them for several weeks now. Waiting to test the long term durability before doing so.

These pants have been my go-to everyday pant for quite a few years now. I work outside, in variable conditions, moving around a lot in hot and cold environments. And they are always my go-to pants. Love the breathability, durability, slimmer look yet not constraining in the thigh for bigger quad guys like myself. The one thing I've heard people complain about is they do come off the shelf a bit stiff. But honestly after a couple of washes you dont notice. And over time they seem to last much longer than a standard khaki or casual pant.

The material is more heavy duty than you probably think from the images. It's got a thickness to it that feels durable. That doesn't mean it's still not flexible or lightweight, it just doesn't feel like the classic super stretchy pant material. Think Prana Zion pants. If you're big into backpacking or hiking through brush you definitely would prefer these. I'm starting to notice most things from mountain hardware run a size small. Im usually a 32 waist at 5'10 180 but in most MH stuff I have to kick up to a snug 33 or a loose 34. If you have thicker thighs like me or are on the edge with a waist sizing go up a size. You won't regret it.

I was excited to have this new AB pants, however, it disappointed me when i rcvd it.... the workmanship is poor, a lot of untrimmed threads, it seems there is no inspection before the shipment. Also, the fitting is wired to me _too tight of thigh circumference, but other measurements are fine.

Love these pants! They fit like a glove and they are of the quality I’ve come to expect from MH, excellent! I bought 3 pair and I’d buy another if they were available in 30” inseam. I highly recommend them. Fit is true to size.

I ordered a 31x30 am 5'11" and 150 lbs. I was really excited about these, thinking they'd be a great all round pant for climbing in the gym and outside as well as casual wear. After several wears, they are stiff and heavy, feel cheap, don't stretch much nor are they really breathable. The Velcro thigh pocket is almost a neat feature but is too small to really use it for much aside from chapstick and small pocket knife. Lastly, the waist could use an easy or auto synch system to make these a little more versatile. As they are, I have a little more room in the waist than expected and need to wear a belt. If they had a synch buckle I could probably wear them climbing or for other activities. All that said these pants looks decent and are ok for casual use. I ordered the green color and would probably go with something different if I could...they are army green.
