Versatile When In Use As A Bag Or Backpack And Compact When Stored

Bought recently since my 20 year old gym bag just can’t keep it together. I like that it can be carried like a bag OR it has storable shoulder straps to make it a backpack. Also conveniently folds up into a very small item.

I bought this to replace my old gym bag. This thing holds all my gear to include a change of clothes. It’s pretty much bullet proof.

Great Weekend Bag For Two Or Weeklong For One

Used this as a weekend bag for two people. Love the organization this allows. Shoes on the side, laptop sleeve for quick access things, and the adaptable/removable organizer. Made it quick to divide the main compartment into his/her sides. Was comfortable to wear as a backpack (the shoulder straps did not feel like they were digging into me despite the duffel being full) and not awkward to hand hold as a duffel. I also appreciated how quickly the backpack straps were to unclip and tuck away (can't be done for the XS base camp and is a hassle for the S base camp). I think the best part was the simplicity of folding into itself when done (much easier than the traditional base camp design where you have a separate storage bag). Seeing the 32L have the water bottle holder makes me wish they worked that into the 42L size, but it's not a dealbreaker. I have the Base Camp (original design) in XS, S, and M and will be reaching for the 42L voyager from now on as long as i don't need the additional space of the M Base Camp.

I'm obsessed with this new buy! I fit 5-7 outfits in this, as well as a pair of shoes, and other miscellaneous items. It will also be perfect for my hikes. Best $90ish dollars spent. It can be used as a duffel or a backpack with the straps. The material/quality seems legit and like it should last for many moons. Definitely buy it if you like to hike/travel.

Great Backpack Duffle

I purchased this duffle for my college aged son for Christmas as a recommendation from my other college aged son who has one and loves it. Both of them love the backpack strap feature,but also love how it opens like a suitcase and has a moveable divider inside. The 42L is the perfect size for a weekender bag. The only thing I would also have liked is the option for a crossbody/shoulder strap as well as the carry handles and the backpack straps. We have one bag in the new taupe green which is a Garry nice grayish olive color,and one in the TNF black/asphalt gray combo,which my older son loves as it doesn’t scream TheNorthFace the logo is very subtle.

Great Small Duffel

Bought the larger size North Face duffel awhile back for overnight camp trips. It was so nice and easy to clean, I purchased the smaller size for short trips. Water proof pretty much. Used to put my duffel in a black garbage bag to keep dust off and to keep dry. No need to do this with this bag. Super nice duffel!
