Versatile
Second pair and still most versatile pant in my closet. I've worn these for travel, casual office days and hiking up a 10K in Colorado. They fit extremely well, true to size, and are durable.

Finally A Technical Pant That Fits Me.
Finally I found a tech/utility pant for me. I'm a fit 50-something with thick calves. Now that I've shared too much information, I want to tell you these pants fit me perfectly. When I wear these pants I don't have to ever have to think about pulling down the cuffs over my ankles when I stand up after sitting. Don't get me wrong, I really like the regular 5 pocket pants from Ten Thousand, I own three pairs. But, the straight fit without taper of the utility pants are perfect. They are wide enough to give your legs room, but without looking baggy. The side pockets are useful for odds and ends like keys, an earbud case, or a smaller wallet. The opening is a little small, so even for regular sized hands, you might not be able to reach to the bottom of the pocket without some maneuvering with your other hand. The fabric has substance, so they're good for four season wear. These pants would be great for the trail or dressing up with a casual button down or quarter zip. Out with some of my other pants from other brands that were adequate, but not great. I just ordered two more pairs of the utility pant.

Good All Around Pants
Overall I like the Utility Pants. The velcro waistband helps dial in the size and the weight is good for fall and spring time. They look good enough for non-hiking outings. I took one star off due to the zipper pockets being too small to fit my phone in easily. The shorts version does not have this issue, but the pants zipper pockets are cut differently and cannot easily get a phone in and out.

Utility Pant = My New Favorite
I love the Utility Pant! The fit is perfect. Just the right amount of stretch. Perfect pockets for travel, hiking and daily use. BUT, the “regular” length is too short. I normally wear 32x34 pants and these in regular length are really short. Currently, the “long” length version is only available in black color. I want more! Ten Thousand…. please please roll out the Utility Pant Long in more colors!!!! I will buy every color.
