I bought these previously and absolutely adore them. They fit perfectly on my narrow feet, having excellent elastic around the arch and ankle. The length was also perfect. (I think I bought these in 2023 or 2024). In 2026, I bought two more pairs in blue. By contrast, these socks are far too loose, and the foot is shorter. If I pull them to fit my feet, it is uncomfortable on my toes. I don’t know if it’s just the blue ones or both colors, but I don’t feel like dealing with shipping and returning. In fact, I might return the ones I already bought this year since I haven’t worn them. Smartwool, if you read your reviews, please fix this issue. The previous ones were perfect.

I tried these suffering from really cold feet this winter. I like these socks a lot but somehow the cozy cabin socks feel much warmer to me. These socks have a looser fit to them so maybe I should have sized down. But I think it is just the knit of the sock that creates more 'air' ? I am not sure but these are not my favorites for keeping warm. They aren't cold. . just not as warm as others.

These are the best socks ever! I bought five pairs I wish I would have bought more so I could wear them every day. They have been keeping my feet toasty warm and they are very comfortable. They don't squeeze my ankles likes some of the other smartwool socks do. I did snag one sock and some thread pulled away, so I hope it doesn't cause a problem in the future. These socks are very thick so they fit best in my hiking shoes, but I have worn them in a looser fit tennis shoe too.

My wife absolutely loves these. She stays cold natured and absolutely loves to be warm. I had previously bought her a couple pairs of these socks, but she prefers to wash them after every use which I completely understand. I had a gift card and decided to buy her two pairs of socks and myself two pairs of socks. I bought her two different colored versions. And now she wears a pair almost constantly. I'm sure she will even wear them when summer comes around too.
