Great Value

Fits true to size, comfortable, great for hiking, skiing, or any outdoor activity during the winter

Just What I Was Looking For

Fit is great. Minimal shrinkage. Nice to have a little more warmth over the 150 version.

Very Comfortable And Stylish

very comfortable, doesn't feel like wool but it is. Great for base layer on cool nights, also great for hot sunshiny day, that I surprisingly discovered . I ordered two more. Highly recommend.

Best All Around Zip Neck For Me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best mid weight zip neck base layer I’ve ever owned. The quality of the fabric is unmatched. I’ve never had a Smartwool garment that pilled. It looks good enough to wear as a shirt/sweater. The zipper is first class and the neck doesn’t sag. I were it as a base layer skiing all over the IS and Canada, cycling in cold weather, and under a shirt all winter to take the North Atlantic chill of fall through spring. Best of all I can wear it without worrying about the dreaded polyester stink, its stays fresh for ages.

Everynight

I love my Smartwool tops and bottoms. I wear them every night for sleep; they've become my pajamas and my household comfort wear in a cold house and on cold nights. Of course. . . I wear them during the winter on freezing cold days as well. I prefer the Navy color, but find that color often sold out. . . so, my second preference is black. The jazzy colors and patterns are not for me. I also wear Smartwool socks regularly. . . and again. . . not just for freezing outdoor weather. The only problem with the socks is that the material pills. . . . but the pilling doesn't stop the warmth benefit.

Used these for a trip to Norway and general use when running Ski Meets. Keep you warm and comfortable.

Perfect Fit, Regulates Core Temperature Well, Excellent Comfort.

Absolutely love the lightweight fit and comfortability. It fits true to size. This is my fourth purchase of this line. Each has been exactly the same in fit and comfort. And amazingly the fabric keeps your body temperature warm yet it allows it to breathe with changing temps to create a perfect balance of core temperature.

Great Midweight Base Layer

Great base layer for winter here in Virginia. Midweight, good down to 20 or so. Excellent fit and nice color too. Smartwool products are always well made (and don't have annoying labels!)

Excellent Fit, Wears Well For Every Occasion

Excellent slim fit. Love that you can wear with shorts or pants, hiking and nice to wear out with friends. Very comfortable while keeping your core temperature comfortable.

Small And Itchy

Runs fairly small, also for being merino wool it is surprisingly itchy, tried wearing a shirt underneath but because it was on the smaller side the under shirt made it more uncomfortable.
