I've got tons of smartwool products but their intraknit line is really the perfect blend of wool and nylon. I snowboard in this and it's so much nicer than a full wool base layer. I'm the first to suggest 100% wool for outdoor winter activities but I'm starting to understand the value of adding a stretchier nylon to the mix. It's even more breathable, less itchy, and I forget I have it on when wearing it. I so exclusively wear slim fitting chinos to work and these things are thin enough to not stretch the pants and warm enough for those early morning commutes to work in the freezing cold. The other intraknit product was a gator and I love the added ventilation and stretch so I gave these a try when they went on sale.
