Fish Walleye on the Detroit River and Lake Erie. Great protection and comfy!

I bought these for spring walleye and bass fishing in SE Michigan. Thought about getting an insulated jacket and bib but decided on these. Figured I could add base and mid layers for warmth. These were perfect against the wind on a 45-55 degree day with layers. Also worked great on a 55-65 degree rain day. Rained all day and kept me completely dry. They are breathable and will work well on warmer days. I’m 5’8” 195lbs with athletic build. I bought the Large and they fit perfect especially if layering. The fish seem to love the look too!

The Challenger bibs and Jacket Live up to the hype. Economical all weather protection that fits true to size. Great setup.

I’ve fish for a living. 200+ water days a year the last 20+ years. Name a brand and I have owned it. Nothing comes close to Simms gear and I have a full range of Challenger Gear in sizes to fit them all. It takes one time wearing my Simms Gear to make them switch. It’s worth every penny.

I didn’t want the bulk of an insulated jacket… but I definitely need the protection from the wind and spray off the skiff. This works perfectly and leaves plenty of room for layers underneath that may need to come off as the temps go up.

Eye catching style, great construction and features! I wear this jacket with my Challenger bibs every day when I am fishing the St Lawrence river in New York State and Ontario, Canada. Jacket is very breathable and dry, and with a fleece layer or two, very warm in fall and winter. This is my second set.

This is a great jacket. It repels rain in the worst conditions. I have used it from Montana to Washington and stayed dry every time.

I took it to Alaska and had to wade out about Waist deep and the bottom of my jacket filled with water even with the pockets zipped I like the coat but it weighs about 40 pounds when its full of water

I bought the Challenger Fishing Bibs and Jacket because I needed a quality set of rain gear for a fishing trip to a remote lodge in northern Ontario. I am so glad that I did! It rained intermittently for the 5 days I was there, and this gear kept me dry and comfortable.

As a full time fishing guide, quality rain gear is absolutely critical to my greater success!! Ordered a couple of these to keep in dry storage for clients. Excellent performance for the money! Highly recommend 🎣

In the past I always bought mid priced rain gear. After getting completely soaked while fishing. I knew I needed better gear. I bought my first simms rain jacket. There are several things that’s stand out. The cuffs are designed to stay dry while casting in the rain. The hood and neck design allow you to shield your face from rain while maintaining a wide view. Lastly, it has kept me dry both times I needed it.
