Finally The Real Triumph Is Back!

Thank goodness Saucony finally returned to the original idea of the Triumph. A little bit of a rocker and super plush. 10 miles out of the box and they felt great. The 22 was the only version I couldn’t wear (hard and no cushion) and I’ve been wearing these since year one. Love these!

I Didn’t Like

I bought these sneakers a month ago because I heard they were very comfortable, but I don’t think they are. After wearing them for only two or three hours, my ankles hurt a lot and my legs felt tired. I wouldn’t recommend them.

Plush, Mostly Sturdy Ride

Purchased first pair of Saucony's after extensive research for a shoe that would be supportive for a heavier runner with excellent shock absorption. The Triumph 23 fits the bill for that criteria. There are some other design quirks that hold this shoe back from being the ideal cushioned ride, namely the narrow heel that lacks a loop for pulling the shoe on/off. The cut of the shoe also sits low on the ankle and can feel less supportive (and mildly aggravating around the ankle if you wear no-show socks) as a result. Even in the wide, consider going up half a size to ensure toe box comfort.

Triumph 23 – Great Footwear

I purchased my triumph 23 sneakers about a month ago and I’m so happy I did. They were incredibly comfortable with maximum cushion. I use them for walking and hiking and my feet and ankles are protected. I plan on purchasing another pair in the near future

Good Shoe. Toe Box Not Wide Enough

I like the shoe but the toe box for my wide shoes is not as wide as I am used to.

I am very happy with my Triumph 23 shoes. My feet feel so much better! I had broken a toe and my podiatrist recommended Saucony. Walking is fun again!

Cushioned Without Feeling Heavy

I’ve been running in the Triumph 23 for a few weeks now and they quickly became one of my favorite daily trainers. They have plenty of cushioning and protection without feeling overly soft, squishy, or heavy. The ride feels smooth and comfortable, but still responsive enough that I don’t feel like I’m fighting the shoe. I’ve used them for easy runs, longer runs, and everyday mileage, and they’ve been comfortable from the start. I especially appreciate that they feel stable and natural underfoot. I’ve tried other highly cushioned shoes that felt bulky or awkward to me, but the Triumph 23 gives me the comfort I want without losing that connected-to-the-ground feeling. They’ve earned a permanent spot in my rotation, and I would absolutely buy another pair.

Really comfortable. I’ve been buying triumphs for years now and there was a couple iterations I didn’t like. These feel like they’re back to what I used to love about the Triumph.

I love these Saucony sneakers! They’re super comfortable and have so much support. I’ve worn them for both running and walking, and they feel supportive without being heavy—definitely one of the most comfortable pairs I’ve owned. Highly recommend!

Brilliant Engineering.

This was my first pair of Saucony And I bought the Triumph 23 and I absolutely love them. They are the most comfortable tennis shoe I have ever worn. I could honestly wear these 16 hours a day and my feet would not get tired. Brilliant design. Brilliant engineering.
